Dr. Priya J Talageri completed her post graduation – MD from prestigious JJM Medical College, Davanagere with the gold medal from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Post MD, she got trained in advanced clinical diagnosis and treatment in the department of dermatology, Apollo main hospital, Gream’s Road, Chennai. In this period, she worked as an associate consultant under renowned dermatologists at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. Her work involved the tertiary level patient care of a vast number of patients and dermatological admissions from all over the nation and also overseas. Here, she got to do over 1000 cutaneous, scalp and mucosal biopsies & gain sound knowledge in dermatopathology. She got trained in advanced cosmetology and dermato- surgical procedures under the guidance of distinguished Dr. Maya Veda Murthy at RSV skin center for 2 ½ years. She has also worked as assistant professor in ACS medical college, Chennai and in the department of dermatology at Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore, sharing a keen interest in clinical work as well as postgraduate and undergraduate teaching. She attended advanced pediatric dermatology course at Birmingham Children's Hospital, UK & trained under international faculty.She is also a life member of cosmetic dermatology society of India (CDSI) with regular training in latest trends of cosmetology and aesthetic medicine and laser treatments.She has a keen interest in clinical diagnosis and management of systemic disorders with skin manifestations. Collagen vascular disorder, vitiligo, acne management, hair loss treatment, allergies, urticaria and newer cosmetology procedures.
