After graduating he was on an assignment to provide services at the Jainarayan Aroghyadham, Jabalpur. After this assignment, he was given the responsibility of setting up the Basava Institute of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, Bangalore. In recognition of his skills and expertise, Dr. Gurudatta was appointed as a Senior Physician in Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences at Soukya (International Holistic Health Centre), Whitefield, Bangalore.
