I have been suffering from chronic back pain (L4-L5 & L5-S1 levels) since 2008, and every year, I would experience severe episodes of pain. Before moving back to India in 2014, I had multiple visits to chiropractors in the US and even had to resort to steroid injections to manage the pain. Unfortunately, after returning, my visits to various hospitals in Hyderabad and Bangalore yielded little relief. I was often prescribed medicines and advised to rest for days without addressing the root cause.

In 2014, I came across Beracah Oasis Physiotherapy Clinic and walked in with no hope, in excruciating pain. Meeting Dr. Avanthi was a turning point in my journey. She was incredibly patient, listened carefully to all my complaints, and what impressed me the most was her practical approach. Unlike other doctors, she didn’t insist on new X-rays or MRIs unless absolutely necessary. She manually assessed my condition and reassured me that my previous reports were sufficient.

This level of thoughtfulness gave me my first positive impression of her, and she didn’t disappoint. Within 14 days, she completely cured my pain, something I hadn’t experienced in years.

Following is my experience:

I was having severe back pain (below left shoulder). I tried some alopathic medicines but could not get rid of the pain.

One of my cousin, who is a orthopaedic surgeon, suggested me to consult a physiotherapist. One of my friend gave me the reference of Dr. Avanthi.

When I visited her clinic on the first day, she gave a brief explanation about the pain and its probable causes. And then after she started the sessions of ultrasound therapy. She also explained some of the exercises to do on regular basis to avoid muscular pains.

After almost 3-4 sessions of therapy, my pain was reduced dramatically. It was a completely pain and hassle free therapy.

Based on my experience, Dr. Avanthi is strongly recommend from my side.

I had recently visited Beracah physiotherapy clinic & had a great experience. Dr. Avanti actually listens to the patient with patience :) . After her diagnosis, she clearly explains the diagnosis and possible treatment options. Along with the treatment she also gives good advice on the small but important lifestyle changes that can be incorporated into daily schedule which can quicken the recovery process. One other thing, on the first day itself, she asked if I had any issues related to back pain recently. I was surprised because I never mentioned it and had undergone a long treatment the previous year. After the current treatment was done, she had a look at my previous treatment details and gave some advice on that issue as well. Very professional. I would definitely recommend. 5 stars all the way.

I am really happy and satisfied with your treatment as I had completely lost hopes that my chronic shoulder pain will get cured and i have to leave with no pain forever.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Avanthi Ma’am and her team for their excellent treatment of my lower back pain. They accurately identified the root cause and recommended the right solutions, including needling sessions and targeted exercises. A special mention to Pravalika and Asha for their kindness and consistent follow-ups—their care truly makes a difference.

Despite attending sessions for only 20 days due to unavoidable travel to Chennai, I noticed significant improvement. Once I return to Bangalore, I will definitely rejoin to continue my sessions for a full recovery.

Suggestion: The only area for improvement I’d like to highlight is the need for more in-person follow-ups from Avanthi Ma’am. While the team does a fantastic job, patients would benefit greatly from direct interactions with the doctor at least once a week, rather than having to reach out over the phone. During my 20-day treatment, I met Ma’am only twice, specifically for needling sessions.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the treatment and care provided, and I highly recommend this clinic!

She was very positive and encouraging. The team of doctors who do the physiotherapy were outstanding. They were very kind and provided excellent therapy.
