Diya is a phenomenal therapist. In the past 2 years that I have been working with her, my life has been completely transformed. Her 15+ years of professional experience clearly shows in the way that she handles complex issues in session. She has a flexible style that is adaptable to the client’s needs - she was able to customise her counselling to something that I am comfortable with. She was also very clear about her professional therapeutic boundaries since the beginning and she always acted towards my best interests for the long-term. She helped me slowly and carefully unpack past traumas and process them over time. Last year, I was going through an extremely difficult phase with multiple traumatic events happening all at once. Diya’s therapeutic support deeply helped me get through all of that. I have evolved emotionally and emerged stronger because of my work with her. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have Diya has my therapist. I highly recommend her for anyone who is seeking psychotherapy or mental health counselling.

I met Diya during one of the most painful phases of my life, when everything felt overwhelming and uncertain. From the start, she brought a sense of calm and steadiness into what felt like chaos.
What stands out to me is her ability to hold space for intense emotions without judgment or urgency. She helped me navigate difficult moments with patience, gently guiding me to understand myself better rather than rushing me toward solutions.
While I’ve come a long way since then, this is still an ongoing journey—and having her support continues to make a meaningful difference. She hasn’t just helped me cope but has played a big role in helping me rebuild, step by step.
If you’re someone who is struggling or simply looking for a kind, understanding presence to support you through life’s challenges, I wholeheartedly recommend reaching out to her.

A friend had asked me to reach out to Diya a couple of years back and she was in total praise of her. I did not understand what it all meant then. In fact, I remember visiting Practo and reading the glorious recommendations written by folks then. Now, after a couple of years of therapy with Diya, I realise what those words meant. And here I am sharing my own experience to help you decide just like I did.
Before I say anything, a big shoutout to Diya whose presence in itself is therapeutic, vibrant and full of life!
What I love the most about her is that she listens to you ever so patiently and picks up the nuance from the sea of emotions to ask the right questions. These questions serve as the best guide to uncover behavioural patterns and to deep dive into certain feelings. In doing so, what I appreciate the most about her technique is that she is a natural and that you can trust her like your own self! Her approach is effortless and speaking to her feels like a conversation you are having with your own self - without fears and judgement. She creates that safe space for you to become aware about your feelings, mental jungle-gyming and mostly anything. And that too without it all seeming like an uphill task.
After almost two years of being in therapy with Diya, I have seen a sea of change in my ability to deal with the difficult circumstances, conflicts, failures as well as embrace the beautiful things in life. Our conversations have been a source of awareness for me to pause and learn about how I deal with my relationships, any situation, how these make me feel overall and what I could do to change it. For instance, Diya has helped me resolve conflicts within relationships - my relationship with my self, my partner, close family members, friends, colleagues, bosses and more. In doing so we have established certain recurrent patterns and that acts like an internal compass.
Diya is a superstar therapist and I strongly recommend her! If you are still making up your mind just like I was a few years ago then I take the liberty, as my friend did, to nudge you to trust her and go for it!
Best wishes,
Priyanka

This testimony is long overdue. I reached out to Diya when I was experiencing a lot of personal stress in my life. This was during covid wave 1 in 2020. Diya and I continued for almost 8 months averaging a session every week for this duration.
In this journey, what stood out about Diya was:
A) How approachable she is. She has a very positive, enthusiastic and friendly presence. This helped me get very comfortable very early to be able to confide in her, share openly with her and that helped immensely.
B) How she is very quick to grasp onto the smaller nuances in our conversations and ask very pertinent follow-up questions to dive deep. This helped us go deep on multiple issues and generate insights that could easily have slipped out of conversation.
C) How she is direct in the best professional way. She always called a spade a spade, and was very honest/candid with her views and assessment. There was no beating around the bush or sugarcoating facts, all this while staying true to the conversational style of discussion and while remaining infinitely patient through my monologues.
I would strongly recommend Diya. From experience, I know and understand how difficult it can be to find the right therapist who works for you. With Diya, those odds are really good. All the very best with your mental health journey and hope this testimony helps you.

I have been working with Diya for quite some time now. Her approach is quite different from my previous therapists. She has always listened to what I had to say and shared her unbiased point of view. My sessions never felt like a one-sided conversation with her. I have never felt like I went to her with a problem so that she can give me her opinion about it. Rather, with her, it always felt like we were both working towards me discovering myself. Each session I had with her, taught me so much about myself. I have always felt like she is genuinely invested in my health and problems.
Whenever she feels like I am going through a really tough time during a session, she checks up on me in between sessions too even though we meet every week. She is extremely funny, kind and a great listener. She has given me a fresh perspective and something to think about in all our sessions together.
I would strongly recommend her to anyone seeking help with mental health issues. She is very intuitive, makes you feel super comfortable and is just an outstanding therapist!

My sessions with Diya started in November 2020 when I hit a personal low in terms of mental well-being. She has been exceptional in helping me tackle a wide range of issues - lack of confidence and motivation stemming from a divorce, anxiety caused by peer group, destabilization at work, and grief counseling to manage the overwhelming emotions caused by the death of a parent and a pet. Diya is extraordinarily intuitive about guiding me through all these setbacks and has been instrumental in making me believe that I will overcome anything that life throws at me.She's a confidant, someone I trust deeply with matters that I hide from the rest of the world. It's a testament to her skills as a psychotherapist to be able to put me at ease without the veil of judgement which would otherwise stop me from voicing these out loud. Diya is empathetic, and works without rushing me, allowing sufficient time for me to process our sessions and put into effect the actionables we discuss. Within the boundaries of this professional relationship, she has also became a dear friend for I look forward to Therapy Thursdays knowing that she's got my back. Highly recommend that you book a session with her.

I have always had a hard time opening up to someone as I fear being judged. But Diya made me so comfortable that we started talking like friends and she become my confidant. For me, I was just sharing incidences of my life but Diya, a true professional was noting the ups and downs and my behaviour.
She ensures that I feel confident in sharing my life details with her without a fear of anything being leaked or me being judged. All this while I had built a wall around me and was always happy for the world. I didn’t realise that it has become a part of me until Diya broke that wall to discover the zillion emotions inside.
I have had my share of battles that I fought, left, ignored, won but it’s Diya who made me realise I’ve come a long way. I lost all my confidence, started having trust issues but with time she has helped me come out of it and taught me to prioritise myself over others.
I truly recommend Ms. Diya to anyone and everyone seeking help. She will understand your feelings, your thoughts, your emotions and help you solve your issues from scratch. She doesn’t believe in short term solution and helps you figure out a way to sort your life, relationships for long.
Blessed to found her.
I have been a regular client of Diya for the past 1.3 years and have been getting her help for anxiety, procrastination and self-esteem related issues.
I initially approached her for chronic procrastination related issues after trying to battle it for 4-5 years and failing hard. After the first few sessions, we managed to track it down to the anxiety issues that I have been dealing with for many years now. Diya has introduced me to many DBT and mindfulness based techniques for managing anxiety, and coping well with situations which trigger anxiety, and slowly & steadily has brought about big improvements in my mental health.
Through her therapy sessions, she has helped me in seeing anxiety from a positive light which in turn has been helping me slowly change my attitude towards myself. She’s been slowly uncovering the deep rooted thought patterns that have existed in my head for many years, by asking the right questions and probing for the right things and has helped me in questioning & correcting them, all the while showing extreme care and patience. I have often come out at the end of the sessions feeling extremely confident and empowered to tackle things and issues which earlier have felt insurmountable, all thanks to the coping strategies and techniques introduced by her. She always gives the right advice, appropriate for the situation and almost always leaves you impressed by the simplicity and efficacy of them. Best of all, she has helped me in accepting my own self, in turn helping me improve my self image and confidence.
I would strongly recommend anyone battling mental health issues, to seek her help. She’s a stellar therapist!

I consulted Diya since a previous person I consulted with didn't give me the advice I needed. With Diya, she heard me and understood my problem--allowing me the space to talk about everything I needed to let out, while *also* adding in her thoughts on what I was going through. I really appreciated that it wasn't a purely one-sided conversation with Diya and yet I was always heard, and understood. Furthermore, she took feedback that I had that could make my counselling experience and applied it to our sessions. She is extremely approachable, friendly, and super-professional as well. Her sense of humour helps to lighten the situation and enables an un-inhibited dialog. Most crucially, she helped me with the situation that caused me depression and helped me deal with my situation by understanding myself better. I recommend a session with her 100%
I had been struggling with some personal issues for the longest time that I could think of, most of it rooting from my childhood. My friend referred Diya and with my first session itself, I could understand patterns in my behavior and how a few of my traits, though good for others, were self-sabotaging. Her friendly approach and qualitative exercises work effectively in finding the root causes and how you can work through your issues. Her sessions helped me pave my way through all the discomfort, traumas, and. bad experiences and I've been so much better now. I still have a long way to go but for now, I know where to look at when it hurts and what do I need to work on to fix myself, thanks to Diya. Self-awareness is key in healing and she makes the process worthwhile.
