I am not happy with my treatment results. Here's why- I started my consultation with Dr. Arundhati in October 2020. During my first visit I explained I have hair thinning and hair fall issue. She immediately suggested Mino pep and prp treatments ******* ******** ** **** ** ***** *********** I was also naive and like most marketing ads this gave me the hope to increase my hair growth. So I started my prp treatment which costs approx 35000 for 6 sessions spaced across 5-6 months (Mine took 8-9 months due to lockdown disruptions). After first couple of sessions when I didn't notice any positive impact on my hair growth I was concerned but the doctor told me it takes at least 3-4 sessions for it to work. Through the process I was regularly taking pictures of my hair and scalp from all angles to monitor growth. After my last session I again raised to the doctor that I don't see much growth and in fact my hair fall has also come back to pre treatment levels. This time she said it works differently for different people so let's see after 2 months. This was unacceptable to me. After 6 months of doing my treatment I didn't expect an answer "it works differently for different people". You are my doctor and know my history and I expect you to tell me how is it working for me (and not how it works for everyone). I will tell you why she couldn't. Throughout the 6-8 months of my treatment she hardly saw me or checked on my progress. My sessions would also be done by different doctor (Dr. Anusha) based on their availability. At this time I felt quite disappointed and for the lack of a beffer word, ******** She also said that after 2 months we will give you some derma roller *** **** **** **** *** if the results are not encouraging. This is my problem with them. ******* ******** ** ******** *** ************* ** ****** **** *** ***** ********** *** *** *** ******* *** ******* ** **** ** ******* ********** * *** **** **** ****** ***** **** *** ******* *** ***** I still don't know what is wrong with my hair- is it genetic or water issues or life style issues or some medical condition that is causing the hair thinning. So I feel that I spent a ton of money ** **** ** ******* ***** * *** * ****** **** **** * ******** * ** ******* **** ** **** ** ***** **** ****** *** ******* ******** *** ** **** ****** ** ***** ******** I am not saying all doctors are like that so be very careful about the one you consult or decide to spend money on. A very simple cue can be check if the doctor is really asking you enough questions to understand your unique problems, getting required tests done or is directly jumping to expensive treatments.
