Dr. Sirish Nelivigi Has Been Working In The Field Of Cataract And Glaucoma For Period 15 Years. In These Years He Has Had Extensive Experience In Both The Fields, Establishing Himself As A Leader In The Domain Of Related Eye Care. He Qualified As A Medical Practitioner Form Jjm Medical College, Davangere In 2005. He Did His Postgraduation In Ophthalmology From Kasturba Medical College, Manipal In 1999, And Successfully Undertook The Diplomate Of National Board Examinations In Year 2000. He Subsequently Went Ahead To Do An Advanced Fellowship In Anterior Segment, Sankara Eye Care Institutions At Coimbatore. The Fellowship Gave Him Experience Mainly In Cataract And Glaucoma Surgeries In Addition To Corneal Transplantations, Oculoplasty Etc. Following The Fellowship He Joined Sankara Eye Hospital, Coimbatore As A Consultant For About 4 Years, Where He Performed More Than 20,000 Of Cataract, Glaucoma And Other Surgeries. He Subsequently Went For A Short Term Glaucoma Fellowship At Arvind Eye Hospital At Madurai In The Year 2003.He Subsequently Moved To Bangalore, Where He Joined Nethradhama Eye Hospital, Bangalore, Where He Set Up The Department Of Glaucoma And Headed It As Well for 10 Long Years. In These Years He Developed The Department There To Be One Of The Best In The Domain. There He Was Also Among The Chief Cataract Surgeons Of The Hospital doing Nearly 5000 Surgeries. He Established His Own Hospital In 2013 And Is The Director. This Hospital Is Now Poised For Expansion In The Near Future.
