Dr. Vishwas Rao

Dr. Vishwas Rao is an accomplished Neonatologist and Pediatrician practicing at Cloudnine Hospital, Jayanagar. He obtained his MBBS from Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences, Bellary, where he laid a strong foundation, and later completed his MD in Pediatrics from AIMS, Belur. He further completed his super specialty at St. John's Hospital, where he earned his DM in Neonatology, making him a specialist from the only center offering this super-specialty in the state.Dr. Rao has participated in numerous national and international conferences and keen interest in medical research. He has publications in several international journals and has written 2 chapters in textbooks of Neonatology.His areas of expertise include the care of extremely premature infants, Preterm ventilation, and preterm nutrition, ensuring that the youngest and most vulnerable patients receive optimal nutritional support for their growth and development. Additionally, Dr. Rao is skilled in therapeutic hypothermia and is dedicated to the neurodevelopmental follow-up of preterm infants, ensuring their long-term health and development.He is a member of the National Neonatology Forum (NNF) and the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP). He has been awarded 1st place in the NCPE National Conference,2021 for his research paper.‍
