"Dr Vinod S Dibbur is a specialist in Nephrology and Transplant medicine. He has had a solid foundation in his field of expertise with nearly ten years of experience by working in some of the world renowned hospitals like Imperial College NHS Trust and Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. He is trained in managing most complex cases in transplant and immunological renal diseases. He has previously worked as a Consultant Nephrologist at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust.Dr.Vinod S Dibbur manages patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney diseases and its complications, immunological mediated kidney disease (like Vasculitis and Connective Tissue diseases), kidney transplantation and its complications. He is also very proficient in performing haemodialysis catheter insertion and renal biopsy.His major interest is in management of acute post transplant cases, including management of immediate and late complications. He also manages post kidney- pancreas transplant cases along with prescription of immunosuppressants and management of its complications. He has done Fellowship at Imperial College NHS Trust in London which has provided him with the best training in managing complicated kidney and pancreas transplant in the United Kingdom. He has completed various projects like role of DP antibodies in transplant rejection and continuing his research collaboration with Imperial College on bio markers in Immunological renal diseases.In his previous role as a Consultant Nephrologist with Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust, he successfully set up, lead and managed an Acute Kidney Injury team which helped in identifying and reducing Acute Kidney Injury cases during an admission.He practices evidence based medicine and follows international and national protocols in patient management. He also has excellent academic background with several international posters and publications to his name."
