Dr. Vandana Shetty

Dr. Vandana Shetty is a Psychiatrist and Rehabilitation Specialist, with 8 years of experience in this field. She has always been very passionate about Psychiatry and is working towards normalizing the dialogue around mental health and promotion of overall mental well-being. She completed her MBBS in 2010 and then Masters in Psychiatry(DPM) from RGUHS, Bangalore, 2015. She underwent additional training to earn a Fellowship in Psychiatric Rehabilitation from NIMHANS in 2017, and worked there for a few years afterwards. She is a member of the Indian Psychiatric Society.Apart from being a clinical expert in medical management of psychiatric illnesses, she also practices an eclectic style of psychotherapy based on client's needs. Her approach to clients is balanced between understanding the biological aspects as well as psychological and social values which play a vital role in mental health. Her areas of interest include addiction psychiatry, adolescent psychiatry, sexual medicine, rehabilitation in chronic mental illnesses and promotion of workspace mental health.
