She has also presented award-winning papers and invited lectures at medical conferences across the nation. She has undergone two certification courses under IAAD (Indian Academy of Aesthetic Dermatology). She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Laser Surgery, which is the highest level of certification in the world on the use of dermatological lasers. Although the Board was founded in 1984, Dr. Hameed is the first Indian dermatologist to be awarded the prestigious Diplomate.
