Dr. Sophia Arshi

Dr. Sophia Arshi is a specialist in Family Medicine. She has completed her MBBS from Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Kolar. Thereafter she had an opportunity to work with diverse populations, with adequate exposure to both urban and rural setup. She has worked in reputed hospitals like St. Martha’s Hospital, Apollo Hospital, and Bangalore Baptist Hospital, as a Senior Health Officer in the Department of Internal Medicine and Intensive care. She then did her DNB Family Medicine from Bangalore Baptist Hospital, a Post Graduate Diploma in Maternal and Child Health from Indira Gandhi University, Diploma in Family Medicine from the Royal College of General Practitioners, UK and is currently pursuing her MRCGP degree (South Asia International). Not stopping at that she also did get herself additionally qualified by doing a certificate course in Palliative Care from IAPC, BLS and ACLS Course as per American Heart Association Guidelines, as well as a Certificate Course in the Management of Diabetes from Apollo Hospitals. She practices evidence-based medicine and strives to provide quality health care for all. Her special interests include Diabetes, Palliative care, Preventive medicine, and Women’s health.
