Dr. Samina F Zamindar

Dr. Samina Zamindar started private practice in 1997 and has grown it into three speciality eye care centres in Bangalore.Dr. Zamindar’s eye centre is the first eye centre in India to get E-NABH Pre-Accreditation.Dr. Zamindar was one of the early adopters of phacoemulsification cataract surgery and has performed over 12,000 cataract surgeries till date with 99.99% success rate.She is passionate about systematic approach to practice and has been invited to talk at practice management sessions at state and national conferences.She has popularized her strategy for Soft Cataract Phacoemulsification, at various conferences including “The Asian Ophthalmology Meet” in Malaysia, 2013. She has been invited as faculty at various state conferences including Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Karnataka, Hyderabad and AIOS conference on accreditation and nucleus management techniques.She was invited as a trainer for Surgical Skill Transfer Course (SSTC) at All India Ophthalmology Society 2015 and 2016.She is a Member-Technical committee of Blindness Control, Government of Karnataka and Secretary of WOS (Karnataka chapter)
