Dr Ravi Prakash Y is an Orthopedic & Joint Replacement Surgeon. He has more than 16 years of experience in Orthopedics. He is specialized in Joint Replacement surgery of Hip and Knee. He has been trained in Joint Replacement Surgeries in Renowned National and International Centers of excellence.He Graduated MBBS and MS in Orthopedic Surgery from high volume Govt Medical institutes.He had further Specialty training in Joint Replacement Surgery, with a One Year Fellowship in Joint Replacement Surgery at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, India. He was then Trained in Advanced techniques in Joint Replacement Surgery, Navigation or Computer Assisted Surgeries in Asklepious Hospital ,Germany. He was also Conferred the Prestigious SICOT Fellowship in Arthroplasty and Revision Arthroplasty in Italy.He is also trained in Robotic Joint Replacement Surgeries.His Special Interest is in Joint Related issues , particularly Knee and Hip diseases or injuries.He was the Organizing Secretary and Conducted Conferences and CMEs- OACON 2015, OACON 2017 ( Osteo Arthritis Conference), Live Surgery Workshops March 2017. He is active Member of many National and International Orthopaedic Associations.He has to his credit many scientific/ research presentations at many National and International conferences. He also has many awards to his credit– Best Paper Award at BOS meet 2018, Best Poster Award at National Congress of Hip & Knee Surgeons Society (ISHKS - April 2019).He has a passion for teaching and was involved in Basic Arthroplasty Courses and Saw Bone Workshops for Post graduate students and Young Orthopedic surgeons.
