My 5-Month Weight Loss and Blood Sugar Transformation Journey
(14 July 2025 – 06 December 2025)
I am extremely happy to share my wonderful 5-month health transformation journey. When I began this programme on 14th July 2025, my weight was 117.65 kg and my blood sugar levels were FBS: 121 mg/dL, PPBS: 180 mg/dL, and HbA1c: 7.5.
With the expert guidance of Ms. Ranjani Raman from Nutrition Tattva an excellent dietician, and her dedicated coordinator Ms. Srinithi Kennedy, I followed a very well-designed and strict 16-week diet plan tailored to my food preferences. Their continuous support, daily motivational guidance, inspirational WhatsApp messages, and monthly follow-up meetings helped me stay focused and consistent.
By 06th December 2025, I successfully reduced my weight to 97 kg, achieving a remarkable weight loss of 20 kg. My blood sugar levels also improved significantly to FBS: 105 mg/dL, PPBS: 112 mg/dL, and HbA1c: 5.9, all within just 5 months.
Today, after completing this programme, I feel younger, fitter, and more energetic in managing my daily tasks. I am sincerely grateful to Ms. Ranjani and Ms. Srinithi for their patience, encouragement, and exceptional guidance throughout my journey.

I contacted Ms Ranjani for my son’s nutrition requirements. He was 3 years old at the time and had gut health issues. After a detailed discussion of the issues we were facing she came up with a simple diet plan and we implemented that. I could see immediate changes within in the first 2 weeks of the program. Over the next 10 weeks we added and eliminated ingredients/altered and created recipes based on his preferences and dietary requirements. When he fell ill in between the program we also worked on recovery and immunity building. As a mother it is always our first and foremost concern that our child is healthy, strong and getting all the nutrition they require. Have been trying for so many years to reduce my Hba1c level and to stop insulin which I have been taking for the past one year or so.****** ** * ***** ****** ****** ****** ******* ********** **** **** ****** *** ******* **** ******** ********* *** ******** ********** ********** **
Within first four weeks could see the improvement and my doctor advised me to stop insulin on fifth week beginning itself. Now at the end of 12th week reduced medication.
My Hba1c drastically reduced from 8.7 to 6.1 within this 12 weeks.
I never felt like starving. Also their diet menu(sorry they call it as Nutrition plan) was so handy for us to plan our daily meals. Infact I learned a lot of new recipe.

My heel was hurting and it was high time I took care of my weight and health. I got Ranjani’s reference from a cousin and I started with a 12 weeks Diet plan.
My headache reduced (as I suffer from chronic migraine since more than a decade), started eating clean and healthy food. Felt very happy.
Stomach felt light (usually had bloating issues before the plan), Energy levels improved. I lost around 8 to 9 kgs weight. Started feeling healthy and light.
Ranjani and Lakshmi did a fabulous job, they were prompt, motivating, focused and determined. Being able to eat and still lose weight.. not through crash diets or starving is a great plus about their diet plan .

Another important tip is, Water consumption. Consuming 3 litres of water daily has helped me rid toxins in my body.
Consuming fruits & vegetables daily in decent portions helped me flush toxins & keep my skin glowing.

I recently completed my 12 weeks healthy life programme with Ranjini’s Nutrition Tattva. It was such a great learning process that helped me understand what needs to be fed into our body and at what quantity. I was systematically able to reduce 8 kgs as per my initial goal, with unwavering support from Ranjini and Srinithi. They were constantly checking with me on if Iam feeling ok with the given diet plan and were motivating me to follow the plan as much as possible. They also connected with me thrice throughout the program making sure all my doubts are clarified. They were also open to change the options if I am not comfortable with any of the food choices provided. Being a vegetarian I was able to learn the available protein options and few of the dishes were yummy which we haven’t tried earlier and that especially made the journey interesting. Ranjani Raman's nourishment program was truly helpful in my weight loss journey. I had an amazing experience during the program. The 12-week meal plan she created for me was absolutely perfect—well-balanced, realistic, and easy to follow. I enrolled for the 12 week program for weight loss with Nutrition Tattva after a lot of googling and analysis of multiple possible options on how to proceed with weight loss. This included - exercising (have run four 10K marathons across 3 years), speaking to dieticians in hospitals who would give an eating chart to be followed and also speaking to people who were offering pyramid(Amway) type plans for weight loss where you have to buy stuff from them and eat to reduce weight. I was convinced that none of these help loose weight. I then google-researched for a good nutritionist and that is how I came across Nutrition Tattva.
After speaking to Dt Ranjani Raman, I decided to go for it. The 12 weeks I decided to go for this was the toughest (Mid October to Mid January) as it had in its path, festivals... Dussehra, Diwali, my kid's birthday, Christmas, and New Year.. all these being big eating opportunities!
I had details discussions with Dt Ranjani Raman about myself, my eating habits, the areas I want to improve and take control of and my pain areas. I was given a detailed explanation and a custom plan for every meal and every thing in between meals that I should eat or drink. I was then part of a team including Dt Ranjani Raman, Dt Sharaddha Kavugoli and the operations head Vidya. The aim of this entire team was to reduce MY weight!
I was constantly connected with the team and was giving them status updates every few hours on WhatsApp through the 12 weeks. There was constant monitoring, discussions and tweaking of the plan based on my likes, dislikes and what was working and what wasn't working along the way. I had a lot of doubts and questions about food, diet and living that were cleared along the way. What I liked the most about this process was that the aim of the program was to help me manage my eating habits based on whatever is cooked for everyone at home. Also, the program prepared me to a sustainable approach to eating food that can be followed properly on my own.
I was able to reduce from 84 kgs at the beginning of the program to 68 kgs after 12 weeks. An overall reduction of 16 kgs!!! It has been 3 weeks after the program and I am still applying all that I have learnt during the process and my current weight is consistent and hovering around 68 kgs.
