I was not fully satisfied with Dr. Ramneet Kaur's consultation. The explanation was not very clear, and I have concerns about the antibiotic prescribed to my two-year-old, so I am considering a second opinion before proceeding.

Dear Parent, We acknowledge your concerns regarding the management of your child’s dental trauma and appreciate the opportunity to clarify the clinical circumstances and sequence of events. Your child sustained trauma involving the same tooth on two separate occasions within a period of approximately six months. During the first incident, the trauma was minimal, and the X-ray did not reveal any concerning findings. Based on the clinical and radiographic assessment at that time, our doctor determined that no medication was indicated or required. During the second episode, however, your child presented with gum and lip swelling, mobility of the affected tooth, and an X-ray showing a periapical lesion suggestive of a possible infection. In view of these clinical and radiographic findings, antibiotics were prescribed based on the treating doctor’s clinical assessment and in accordance with established pediatric dental practice. The clinical findings, diagnosis, and proposed treatment plan were explained and given to you during the consultation, and a follow-up appointment was advised after five days. We understand that you have expressed dissatisfaction regarding a perceived lack of clarity. However, no concerns or questions were raised with our team at the time of the consultation or while leaving the clinic. Subsequently, an appointment was booked for approximately one week later. As per our usual appointment-confirmation protocol, our team contacted you one day prior to the scheduled appointment to confirm your attendance for the following day. It was during this communication that you expressed your concerns. We immediately offered to arrange a further call with the treating doctor so that any questions or concerns could be discussed and clarified. Unfortunately, this offer was declined, and we therefore did not have a further opportunity to discuss the matter with you directly at that time. We fully respect your decision to seek a second opinion. We remain available to provide the relevant clinical records and radiographs, as appropriate, should they be required for continuity of care or for review by another dental professional. Hoped for better: Treatment satisfaction

Most of the times I refrain from providing opinions and reviews on the internet. But in this case, I had to, especially since it involves my little 5 year old.

Without getting into the minute details of our experience and personal trauma we faced, I would suggest people to stay away from this doctor and head somewhere else. I still cannot fathom the fact that my kid ended up getting his milk tooth extracted *** ** * ****** **** ***** ************ ********* ** **** ******* *** ** ****** *********** ******* *** ***** ****** ****** *** ********** ** ******** ********** I took multiple second opinion before the extraction *** *** ** **** **** ** *** **** **** *** **** ***** *** **** ***** *** *** *** ****** ***** ** * ************ *** ****** ******* *** ***** ***** **** **** ****** I called the clinic and escalated the issue but I was explained that the procedure was done right. I wasn't expecting any better argument!

Long story short, stay away from this doctor *** **** *** *****

Thanks for submitting your feedback. We believe in constructive criticism so that we can improve ourselves to make a doctor patient relationship healthier. However, in your case we totally disagree and would like to make some clarifications at our end... 1) Firstly, let me talk about some minute details that you did not feel important to mention. You came to the clinic with your 5 year plus old kid who had swelling in the region of his upper front milk tooth. At our practice, we believe in OBJECTIVE diagnosis rather than SUBJECTIVE diagnosis so that our diagnosis is well supported by clinical records and X rays. We advised you extraction as tooth was highly (grade 3) mobile because of severe pathological resorption indicative of infection. You insisted us to attempt and save the milk tooth. You were very well informed by us multiple times before commencing the procedure that even with pulpectomy the milk tooth might not be saved as it has a poor prognosis and our priority will be to save the underlying permanent tooth so we may need to remove the damaged milk tooth if infection does not reduce. You agreed to this and asked us to give it a try. With your consent, we started pulpectomy (not completed as it was a 3 visit procedure) so that pus can be drained. You were very well informed that in 2nd visit only we will able to take a call. In the 2nd visit, after clinical and radiographical examinations, you were again advised to go ahead with extraction because of existing infection of milk tooth which is supposed to fall anyways in another one nd half years could damage the underlying permanent tooth which will be staying throughout your kid’s life. But you still wanted to wait, that’s why we did not proceed with any procedure. 2) After that like you mentioned in your comment that you took opinion from other clinics varying from ours which is totally SUBJECTIVE. Also in our knowledge those so called OTHER CLINICS didnot give you anything in written. Verbally critizing or defaming others has sadly become a business for some doctors. On the other hand we have given everything in written, also, shared clinical & radiographical records with you since day one. If we were doing anything wrong, we would not have been able to do so. 3) Treatment satisfaction- We take complete responsibility of the treatment given to our child patients. For this reason only, when you raised the issue, we specifically told you to come over and meet us in person. You were late by 30 mins but then also we waited beyond clinic closing time so that you get satisfied. We GUARANTEE that the treatment done by us was totally ACCURATE that is very well supported by the child’s records available in the clinic. With our best effort, we explained you all that was in our hands. If you still react this way, we feel extremely sorry for you. We are no one to comment on your understanding level or if you have written this review under someone’s influence. We responded you back because we cannot accept BASELESS and FALSE accusations.

My 5yr old had lot of cavities.Had visited other docs earlier but my kid wasnt comfortable getting things done.Dr. Ramneet was very friendly and made my kid comfortable. She explained things to the kid in a very simple kid language to make her ok with what's going to happen next. The whole treatment experience was very smooth, comforting and the results are amazing. My kid now doesn't get scared to go to a dentist and always wants to go to her. Glad to have met her and taken treatment through her.

My 5 year old daughter, Anvi, was advised for root canal treatment in some other dental clinic. But after her first sitting she refused to go that clinic. Surprisingly, it was Anvi’s friend (got her root canal from Dr Ramneet) who persuaded my daughter to go Smile needs dental group. The way Dr. Ramneet handled my daughter was simply amazing. Simply amazing.....***** ******* ** *** ** *** **** ************* **** ** **** **** ****** ** ********** Our son, at age 5, had multiple cavities and was too scared to visit a dentist. I had to research for a child specialist who could comfort my son and make him comfortable.
