Grateful for the Exceptional Care Provided by Dr. S. K. Raghunath and His Team
I want to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. S. K. Raghunath and his incredible team—Dr. Ravi, Dr. Deepak, Dr. Kinju, Dr. Ali, and Dr. Ankit—for the outstanding care they provided to my father, who was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC) and a renal vein thrombus. From the very beginning, they were incredibly thorough in explaining my father's condition. They walked us through the scans and explained each step of the treatment plan in great detail, making sure we understood what was happening and what to expect.
We were advised to proceed with an IVC filter placement and retrieval surgery, which was skillfully performed by Dr. Indhushekar and his team. Their kindness and clear explanations at every stage were deeply reassuring.
A special mention goes to Dr. Sarath from the Anesthesia department, whose motivational support was invaluable to my father, and Dr. Abhay, who managed his diabetes and blood pressure so effectively both before and after the surgery.
Dr. Raghunath assured us that the Radical Nephrectomy would be carried out using robotic surgery, promising a quicker recovery. Despite the challenges posed by the large kidney mass and the need for RPLND surgery to remove the renal vein thrombosis, Dr. Raghunath and his team took their time to meticulously perform the robotic surgery. Many other hospitals had advised against this approach, but Dr. Raghunath's confidence and expertise made all the difference.
Now, just 9 days post-operation, my father is walking almost normally, and his pain has significantly reduced. I cannot thank Sangamesh enough, who is part of Dr. Raghunath’s team, for being with us throughout the entire process—from appointments to surgery and post-surgery care. He was always there to help and guide us, answering every question we had and even assisting us with financial concerns.
I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Namaratha sister, Seena, Netra sister, Suneeja sister, Anvar nurse, Sonal CCO, and Vijay nurse for their compassionate care during our time in the ward.
Thank you so much to HCG Hospital and Dr. Raghunath's team. We are currently waiting for the biopsy results and are hopeful for a favorable outcome. To anyone visiting the hospital, please don’t lose hope—trust in the process and the wonderful medical professionals who are there to help you.
I really appreciate the hard work, passion and dedication of Dr. Raghunath SK for taking care of those of us need. It was an honor to have him as the surgeon for my dad's complex surgery.
My father (75 years old with multiple comorbodities) was diagnosed with stage 2 muscle invasive bladder cancer when we approached Dr Raghunath Sk and his team - Dr. Ravi Taori, Dr. Anil Kumar, Dr. Gowtham at HCG.
Dr. Raghunath SK patiently reviewed the case history together with his team, explained the various treatment options available in details, the associated risks, and helped us select the most optimal treatment plan for my father, which was Radical Cystectomy. We were told that this is a super-major, morbid surgical process with significant risks and log hospital stay. But we went ahead with the surgical process, and happy to say that my father is recovering quite well - thanks to the personalized care and close monitoring by the team of doctors and Dr Raghunath SK himself during his hospital stay. A big kudos to the entire team of doctors for their endless hours in patient care, absolutely great attitude and patient focus. For me, you're the best ..May God be with you always.
To all those who want their loved ones to be in good hands for their surgery, I'd like to recommend Dr. Raghunath Sk and his team. The unique things that I appreciated about their care are:
1. Doctor visits mandatorily twice a day (morning & evening, no matter how late in the evening it is, doctors came and reviewed the patient progress, even on a sunday). This boosts quite a bit of a confidence.
2. Sangamesh - the doctor's medical co-ordinator needs a special mention too for promptly responding to all our questions whenever we needed him.
The entire team is so approachable.
3. Nurses at the ICU have a great attitude too..Very very friendly and understanding
Dear Friends, I am Harry Sagayanathan writing this after the 18th day of discharge from the hospital, few lines I would like to share with you all. On my routine every year checkup (on September 2nd, 2022 PET scan), it was noticed that there is a recurrent tumor according to the PET scan. The medical report stated that “ there is interval development of well-defined enhancing soft tissue lesion in the left pelvis in the region of mesorectum / ischiorectal focus measuring 3.8 x 3.3 cm “.
Dr. Raghunath Sir guided me well to the right hospital where I could get operated on cost-effectively. I was operated on 17th October in MS Ramiah hospital. Dr. Raghunath Sir and his whole team from HCG came to MS Ramiah hospital to make this operation a successful one and there were other two Doctors from MS Ramiah hospital including junior doctors. Dr. Raghunath Sir and his whole team were there in MS Ramiah hospital till the operation was fully completed because the operation was critical and complex. On the 4th day, I was discharged from the hospital. On the 17th day, i.e 3rd of November all the stitches were removed.
Dear friends, it is difficult to say just thanks to my Dr. Raghunath Sir and his whole team, they are very humble to me and I observed that with the other patients as well. I have known Dr. Raghunath Sir from the year 2014, he is such a dynamic person who has helped me with consultation and the proper guidance for the surgery and routine follow-up. My family and I completely trust his efforts as well as his team. We are grateful that we got to meet a person like Dr. Raghunath Sir.
Thank you, Sir, for helping me through the entire process, and thanks to your whole team as well.
God Bless Sir Raghunath and his whole team and their families.
