He is also one of the handfuls of fellows of the International Society of Nephrology having been sponsored to train in interventional nephrology at the Catholic Medical Center in Seoul, South Korea. His fields of interest include slowing the progression of renal failure, diet in renal failure, dialysis, and dialysis access.
