Dr. Nishanth Dinakara

Dr. Nishanth Dinakara completed his MBBS from Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre and went on to specialize in Paediatrics at Sapthagiri Institute of Medical Science and Research Centre, Bengaluru, building strong expertise in child health and development. He has undergone dedicated training postings in leading centres including Kidwai (paediatric oncology), NIMHANS (paediatric neurology) and Jayadeva (paediatric cardiology), enhancing his skills in managing complex paediatric conditions.​He has a special interest in paediatric critical care and routinely handles intensive care procedures, having worked in ICUs during the COVID pandemic and participated in emergency trauma care simulations. He has also completed a Postgraduate Program in Pediatric Nutrition from Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, strengthening his ability to manage growth, nutrition and lifestyle-related issues in children.​Dr. Nishanth has presented posters and papers at national conferences and has published research on dengue severity markers and the relationship between anaemia and pneumonia outcomes in children admitted to PICU. He is certified in BLS, ACLS, NALS and PALS, and regularly attends workshops and training programs on ventilation, adolescent health and mental health to stay updated with advances in paediatric care.​In addition to his clinical work, he has been actively involved in health camps and vaccination programs, reflecting his commitment to community child health. Proficient in English, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi and conversational Malayalam/Tamil, he is able to connect with families from diverse backgrounds and provide child-friendly, family-centred care.
