He has special interest in preventive cardiology, acute myocardial infarction management, complex coronary interventions and heart failure management. He has experience of performing large number of interventional procedures including complex coronary interventions.He had a distinguished academic career, which has given him a broad insight into the subject of cardiology as he acquired all the necessary skills to deal with the vast and challenging problems encompassing the field. The doctor was attentive and took the time to listen — something that’s rarely seen with senior doctors. He patiently explained the issue, diagnosis, and treatment plan in a way that was easy to understand.
What stood out was how well he understood my concerns. He answered all my questions clearly and thoughtfully. When I mentioned I am anxious about having a heart attack due to high cholesterol — and that I preferred not to take daily medication — he suggested relevant tests to rule out future risks, which can help not being anxious and gave me confidence. He also recommended steps I could take to possibly avoid long-term medication.

Dr. Mohan had treated my father at one scary night when he experienced chest pain which was eventually consided a heart attack after diagnosis. Although I was fortunate to reach hospital too early but getting the right doctor is also a luck. Dr. Mohan was on emergency duty that night and suggested us immediate surgery to which initially I was hesitant to.
