we (Sahana & Shiva) visiting Dr.Meenakshi R Kamath from Oct 2018 it is been 1 year and we had a baby girl normal delivery on Nov 1st 2019.Want to Share our experience might help other visitors

Strengths:

1.Prediction and Anticipation 100% of what next will happen at each phase,She will share inputs if we dont follow we have to take challenges off course for our mistake also she will guide what need to be done with lot of patience.

2.Interactive communication based on situation you will observe her change in voice when your in sorrow counselling and gives confidence.When your in Labour Delivery room need to be tuff and strong she enforces things make our life happy for later phases.

3.Not only treats she educates about best practices to have normal delivery suggests to have prenatal yoga which was quite helpful in our case for normal delivery and handling pain but it depends upon when to start based on her suggestion and scan report.

4.Exact Delivery date prediction precisely before two weeks so no tuff time in Bangalore traffic for us. Note:it depends on how to extract information.

Improvements:

1.Need to prepare strong back up and support team for her.Team cant match her skill and expectations it creates few unpleasant things but she care for patients point of view and fix once you bring to her notice.I believe her team should be ready to learn from experience rather all patients go and bring her notice.

2.work life balance to increase her productivity and service to her give her best potential out to all.As per my personal observation and Interactions Now she is having very tight schedule handling emergency,Daily consultation without any break from work this for me its quite stressful and would not really help unleash her highest potential and quality of service.

Overall we are very happy in this one year journey with her.

My husband and I visited Dr.Meenakshi Kamat based on a referral from 2 of our neighbours (Who also took pregnancy care from her) for our 2nd child. In fact we had visited Cloud nine for our first delivery as well, but since we were completely dissatisfied with the earlier doctor (Not naming the doctor due to goodwill), we wanted to have a better experience and thus Dr.Meenakshi Kamat happened.

From day 1 of visiting her, she took utmost care of me. I in fact had a low placenta issue which is usually high-risk pregnancy care but without scaring me or my husband, she took us through the precautions to be taken care since the first tri-mester until I actually delivered.

Dr.Meenakshi is always patient, polite, humble and very social. She takes the extra step to know about the family and understand us better to suggest better food options and medicines that are compatible and palatable:) She always takes time to talk, socialize, examine and provides proper feedback and information.

Even if there are things that could be potentially complex topics, she takes the time to explain in an understandable manner and until we get it. My son who was 5 years when we started visiting her in fact became very friendly towards the end because of the rapport the doctor established.

She is always smiling and never in a hurry or showed frustration for any reason on me (patient) even though her day might be bad. She handles pressure so cool and calm and we really liked the whole experience with her.

When the final D-day came, (MIne was a C-section due to the low placenta issue and the first delivery was a C-section as well) she handled the whole delivery so well and even the post-pregnancy care was well managed.

We would recommend this doctor as a MUST-VISIT doctor for your PREGNANCY CARE. Thank you so much doctor and we have a lovely daughter because of you. We are really thankful and grateful for your services.

I visited Dr Meenakshi Kamath for my second pregnancy which turned out 'Blessing in Disguise' for me. I had lost baby last year due to PIH. Dr have fulfilled my dream of having the second baby. Thankyou so much Doctor. I and my husband are overwhelmed by the postive attitude, friendlines, patience of listening to all your problems and giving the solution for it.

As the saying 'Everything is predefined and predetermined' we are destined to meet Dr Meenakshi Kamath who is God send person for us.

Once we talk to doctor we will be energised with postive vibes which madam spreads.

One think which doctor told to me is ' I am here to worry, you don't need to take tension' I obeyed her and today, I am blessed with healthy baby boy. She takes good care of her patients and answers your query through what's app and through calls as well.

Being a parent is one of the most amazing feelings one could wish for and so when I and my wife, Priyanka decided to take the next big step in our lives, we were very particular about the choice of the doctor.

Find a good doctor may be easy but finding a good doctor who also happens to be an amazing person is very rare!

Just like anyone else, we did our through research, read a lot of reviews before finalising a gynie.

In all hospitals, inserting the vaginal pessary, that too, for a 75+ year old senior citizen, is covered within the consultation fee since it is a simple medical procedure.

During consultation, it appears that Dr.Meenakshi Kamath was heavily pressurizing my mother to undergo hysterectomy, the surgical procedure.

My 81 year old father too was present there.

My mother, a chronic diabetic & with other ailments, a retired LIC of India Employee, having already seen the serious side-effects of hysterectomy in her colleague and others, firmly said NO to Dr.Meenakshi Kamath.

Later, the hospital executive went in and met Dr.Meenakshi Kamath and she wrote ₹2500 for the pessary insertion.

In all hospitals, the charge, even when separately charged and not made part of consultation, for pessary insertion, is ₹500 to ₹1000 max.

But here, consultation which was purely for pessary insertion, was already charged.

In addition, was this ₹2500/-

I am very fortunate that I consulted Dr. Meenakshi Kamath in the month of June 2020 and within a year I was blessed with a very handsome baby boy whom I gave birth to on 22nd June 2021.

Dr. Kamath is extremely passionate and dedicated about her work and is a thorough professional, who gives equal attention to both (to be) Parents and listens to their approach towards parenthood.

Apart from being friendly and strict at the same time, she is always available to her patients on phone calls or on whatsapp, and responds promptly to query time to time to her patients through messages.

She is one such doctor who insists on normal delivery who are really hard to find in these days( I really have to tell this: During my last few minutes in labour, I was never confident of delivering the baby "normal" , I was feeling really tired and felt it's not possible as the entire labour and pain took for 3-4 hours long and the pain was excruciating( Felt Like beating up everyone then who ever was in front of me , Just Kidding), Honestly the Labour pain is in next level and unexplainable, but thanks to Dr. Meenakshi Kamath who arrived on time and gave me the courage & confidence that I have to and can deliver "normal" at that end moment her confidence had really helped in pushing and the baby was finally "out" in 15min.. I was actually surprised at myself that I could finally do it.

My Husband and I can't thank her enough for motivating me throughout my pregnancy journey.

Finally I would like to say the entire experience of my pregnancy and delivery went really smooth because of Dr. Meenakshi Kamath.

I strongly recommend Dr. Meenakshi Kamath to everyone who is looking for doctors who are giving correct treatment as required for the patients.

The entire childbirth process from 1st to 9th month was turned into an experience by her. The personal care, attention and explaination of health issues gave us a lot of comfort. She will take time to explain each step towards motherhood and what are the processes involved or challenges which might come up. Further she would explain how to cope or deal with those challenges. Moreover she is available on phone and whatsapp even at odd hours of night for any emergency. An overall extremely sayisfying experience. Highly recommended.

We visited Dr. Kamath for pregnancy and the birth of our child. This was our first child and needless to say we have had a lot of questions throughout the journey.

But Dr. Kamath made the journey so smooth. *** ** ********* ************** ******** *** ******** She kept an open line of communication throughout the journey. I noticed that she also keeps her team on their toes, although the hospital's admin team needs to do better. She is very hands on in the care she provides and will put her best effort to try for a normally delivery.
