Dr. Mallikarjun Kalashetty was friendly and had explained the issue very well which had not only calmed me down but also made me aware of how blood counts work, with details into what can be considered in the future. He was patient in understanding my problems and had listened to the details very well. It has been a pleasure to interact and solve blood related issues with the doctor and I would recommend Dr. Mallikarjun for anyone who has blood/bone marrow disorders.
Dr Mallikarjun is an excellent person and a fabulous doctor. He doesn't recemmend unnecessary medication. He also explains the illness/problem/effect of medicines to a very detailed level everytime. He's extremely patient with his consultation.
He is so fabulous in the field of haemotology that now he almost predicts my condition. This is what you call an experienced doctor.
I have severe ITP and now am pregnant too. Dr Mallikarjun takes time to keep in touch with my gynae and is working in great coordination with her.
I'm extremely happy with Dr Mallikarjun. Would recommend him to anyone with blood disorders or ITP.

Calm and compose as one should be. Dr. Mallikarjun is one doctor who can bring a smile on your face if you’re scared for your health. His command on the medicine is impressive. I went for a normal checkup, ended up being hospitalised as it turned out to be a fatal issue. But not once he made it sound like that.
He wanted us to be informed about the issue, gave us a good insight on the medicine I’m currently consuming and why should have in the particular dosage.
Overall I’m quite impressed with the treatment I’m receiving.

My dad's heamoglobin is continuously reducing, that is the reason my dad took an appointment with this doctor, he didn't seem to care and scribbled on paper the tests to be done, didn't say a word beyond it. For this, we had to pay 750 rs. And returned with no answers for the questions we had. Wouldn't recommend. No faith here.
The doctor suggested some test and I was diagnosed with Thalassemia minor what he predicted earlier and prescribed some medicines did the consultations.
The doctor was very gentle and friendly.
The only drawback is the behaviour of the hospital staffs. They kept me waited for about 2 hours though I already booked an appointment at a particular slot.

Sir is treating my father for multiple myeloma and overall experience is wonderful. He is one of the best doctor to treat blood related matters and gives assurance and confidence to patient and family which help them to recover quickly. He explains the problem very clearly and what treatment options we have. He avoids writing unnecessary diagnosis test, and explains the process that he is following. I must say my father is in a safe hands. Thank you doctor!
I am perfectly satisfied with the treatment. It was my initial approach to this doctor, though I felt it the most convenient and a helpful one. I was able to meet him on expected time. This session in total was just great, while the outcome was as desired.
It has been more than a year and I am happy with his treatment as always. Since Manipal is a well known and very big health sector, the crowd will be tough to handle. Most of the times, I have waited for hours to get my consultation. Even though it is hard to cope with, the hospital is not liable to blame.

I visited Dr Mallikarjun for a high value for vitamin B12 in my blood report . Dr listened to me attentively and examined my reports in detail. He did a physical examination and noted my other health issues. In the absence of any other symptoms, he reassured me that this issue may not be something to worry about. On the whole a very satisfying and comforting consultation.
Only once I have consulted this doctor and I am extremely satisfied with the treatment. He explained all the details specifically along with the adequate prescription. But the waiting period was a bit high. There was a huge queue that day and I waited for two hours to get my consultation. Other than that everything was fine.
