He clearly explained the diagnosis and the need for a right-sided Ventriculo-peritoneal shunt, which was successfully performed on 29th July 2025 under general anesthesia, with shunt pressure set at 90mm. The procedure was conducted with precision, and the post-operative phase was smooth with no fresh neurological deficits. He was carefully managed with antiepileptic and neuroprotective medications, and his post-operative fever was promptly treated with antipyretics. Dr. Mahendra’s ability to blend clinical expertise with patient-centric care was instrumental in my father-in-law’s steady recovery.
