Dr. Krishna Shama Rao is one of the 12 Surgeons in the world presented with the Medal of Honor in Cranio Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a craniofacial surgeon with an expertise in Advanced Dentistry, Cranial Deformity, Facial Cosmetics, Obstructive Sleep Apnoea, Oral & Maxillofacial and Regenerative Medicine. Practicing for the last 41 years, with professional exposure across the world. In addition to his private practice, he has performed numerous surgeries at some of the most prestigious and finest hospitals across India. To help underprivileged families who are unable to afford treatment, Dr. Rao treats them completely free of cost through his charitable organization. He has contributed to several scientific articles and text books. Not just a famous name in the country, Dr. Rao has been instrumental in curing craniofacial anomalies for patients across the world. He has been an honorary advisory for WHO on its panel for global strategies for the prevention of craniofacial anomalies.
