Dr. Kirantej Daggupati

Dr. Kiran Tej Daggupati is an Orthopaedic and Spine Surgeon with specialized training in advanced and minimally invasive spine procedures. He completed his MBBS and MS in Orthopaedics, followed by extensive fellowship training in spine surgery, including board-certified spine surgery training, a fellowship in minimally invasive and complex spine deformity at Singapore General Hospital, and advanced endoscopic spine surgery training at Yonsei University Hospital, South Korea.He has served as an Assistant Professor in Orthopaedics at JIPMER, Pondicherry, and later as an Associate Professor at Dr. Ambedkar Medical College. He has also worked across multiple reputed centres, including Sekhar Hospital and hospitals in Basavanagudi, gaining extensive experience in orthopaedic spine surgeries, joint replacements, and sports injury management.Dr. Kiran Tej Daggupati has performed more than 2000 surgeries, including over 1200 spine surgeries and around 800 orthopaedic procedures. His orthopaedic work includes management of sports injuries (knee and shoulder), fracture care, and joint replacement surgeries of the hip and knee.Currently, he is working as an Associate Consultant in Orthopaedics and Spine Surgery at Narayana Health. His clinical focus is on evidence-based, patient-centric care with an emphasis on minimally invasive and endoscopic spine techniques aimed at faster recovery and better outcomes.He has extensive expertise in treating back pain, sciatica, disc disorders, spinal deformities, degenerative spine conditions, sports injuries, and performing joint replacement surgeries, with a balanced approach combining both surgical and non-surgical treatment strategies.
