Dr. Kaustubh Gosavi

Dr Kaustubh Gosavi has completed his M.B.B.S from the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Belgaum and completed his M.D (Psychiatry )from esteemed Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (K.L.E University) K.L.E. 's Prabhakar Kore Hospital and Research center Belagavi, which is a premier institute and tertiary center for Psychiatry in North Karnataka. He has trained extensively in various aspects of Psychiatry such as General Adult Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine, along with an elaborate research in aspects of Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. He has also received training in various aspects of Neuro - Psychiatry such as Epilepsy, Dementia and Headache. He has in Depth knowledge of Psychopharmacology and also has in depth knowledge of brain stimulation techniques such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation(TMS) & Electro-convulsive Therapy (ECT). He has depth Knowledge about Electro Encephalography. He Has Worked as Assistant Professor & Consultant Psychiatrist at University Sains Malaysia .K.L.E (USMKLE) & K.L.E Centenary Hospital Belagavi & trained young doctors from India and Malaysia in the field Psychiatry. He has presented various Research papers and Publication in various academic conferences on National level.He is Passionate about spreading awareness of mental health in General Public and believes in the Bio- Pyscho - Social model in the treatment of patients ailing with Mental disorders.
