Dr. Karunesh Kumar H S is a very good doctor who listens patiently and provides excellent analysis. I visited him for diabetes, and he was excellent in managing it.

I would like to share my story and here we go…

I was 36 years old and weighed 98 kg when I received my diabetes diagnosis in 2014, and that is when my adventure as a diabetic patient began.

Doctor (first doctor) says it's too early for me to get diabetes because of my age. He told me it might be cured if I follow all of his medicines and instructions. I put a lot of efforts (exercise) and at least two years of punctual medication taking into my life. Naturally, medicines are changed—not regularly, but most of the time. After two years, I didn't receive the anticipated outcome. I decided to change doctor, but the situation remained the same, and this is the fourth doctor in eight years.

Sometime around May-2023, I experienced extreme physical pain and my blood sugar unexpectedly spiked above 300. My friend suggested that I see a NEW doctor. Although I was not prepared to see another doctor but I didn’t have a choice.

First visit for 15 mins, NEW doctor asked me to get some reports done (in his lab) and come back after 3 days with all reports. I went to lab, gave the samples that were required (blood, urine, etc.), and was charged more than 6k. I really got angry as I have to pay 6k + consultation fees in the first visit???? but again because of my friend I kept quiet.

Two days after receiving the reports, I went back to the doctor. And this time, it was incredible! He looked over all of my reports and gave me a detailed explanation. The conversation went on for more than 45 minutes.

Additionally, he promised to help me heal in six months as long as I do two things a day.

1. Morning walk (fast) at least 3 – 5 km

2. Regular tablets (1 after breakfast & 1 after dinner) 1000 mg

And this is what I did from day 1

- 1st week fast walk 3 kms

- 2nd week fast walk 5 kms

- 3rd week onwards fast walk 10 kms

Result after 1 month, I lost 3 kg and sugar level below 200

Continue 10 km morning walk (fast) in 2nd month – lost 2 more kg and tablet has come down to 500 mg.

Its 5th month now, I go for walk every day (10 km) and as of today only one tablet of 10 mg after breakfast and that’s it.

Now a days (last from 1 month) my sugar level is minimum 70 and max 150 and currently my weight is 88 kg.

I am Happy 😊

Doctor is friendly and suggested medicines after listening to my issues.. I had already taken one couse of antibiotics *** *** ** ******** *** ********* ** ******** *********

But wait time is too high here and the token mechanism is not organised at all in the clinic. I had made an appointment at 12.15 pm and had to wait till 12.40 for the nurse to come and just write my name down. Finally was able to see the doc after waiting for one more hour at around 1.45 pm. Moreover it looked like clinic staff is selecting randomly from practo queue and from the people sitting there as the next patient. Because I was not given any token, but after checking 5or 6 times with the receptionist I was sent in as some random token number.. I saw one lady who came 10 mins after me, but was a regular patient (she was talking with the staff and nurse about previous checkups) being sent in before me as well..so basically whoever was checking continuously with the staff will be sent in, which in my opinion, is not a very professional way of handling the token system.

So even though the doctor is good, expect a long wait time in the clinic.

One day my father in law had severe breathlessness and he went to Dr Karunesh ( who is his diabetologist ) . He has been visiting him for many years , since he is diabetic.

As when he went to doc during the breathlessness, doc asked him to do ECho, ECG etc immediately. As he saw the reports he suspected the blockage in the heart and he himself called for ambulance , rushed him to the hospital and gave instructions and shared the history of the patient to the cardiologist and he saved on time.

His touch is very lucky and very safe. He is not only a doc but also a well wisher and suggests absolutely what is required and does not prescribe unnecessarily. Thank u doc .

Dr Karunesh Kumar was referred by my uncle at a very crucial time when my mom who was diabetic n asthmatic was tested positive for Covid19. Dr Karunesh with his experience and knowledge and his willingness to serve people during this pandemic took great care n concern in treating my mother, he was just a phone call away in times of need. My mom is hail n healthy now.I am forever indebted to Dr for his support n service. It is very rare to find a doctor who is helpful, patient n knowledgeable, Dr Karunesh is one such person. Even the staff at his clinic are helpful n friendly. I wish them the very best.

I went to see him due to sudden appearance of few nodes in the neck of my wife. We needed second opinion as our previous doctor asked for FNAC immediately after no help from 1 week's course of antibiotics.

Dr. Karunesh's patient approach to understand my wife's problem and concern was extremely calming for her as a patient. Alternative diagnostic tests prescribed helped identify the problem without the need for FNAC. To be able to classify the size and possible reason for the nodes shows his extensive experience.

Excellent arrangements made under this pandemic situations, taking utmost care of the hygene,

Safety of patients, staff members, & doctor etc.

Two cabin arrangements ,one for Doctor & the other for patients is a very novel way.

The Doctor could check physically the patient also under special arrangements.

The doctor is very patient, friendly & knowledgable.

Has solved many of my difficult problems in the past more than two decades.

I left with complete satisfaction after consulting the doctor under this difficult situation.

I am very grateful for Dr. Karunesh Kumar who gave me an excellent service. I have taken his treatment and fully satisfied. He is very polite and highly knowledgeable. He listen all your problems with patience and provide proper treatment. One more doctor will sit in the same cabin Dr. Aruna she is good doctor and kind hearted person.

The way he gave the prescription is good. Details will be mentioned in the prescription no need to go again to him after purchasing the medicine. Clearly he will mention how many time have to take medicine and dosage, follow up visit and the disease ect will be mentioned properly. I am going this hospital past 3 years. He well mentained health history.

All staff are wonderful and very helpful in this hospital.

There are a very few experts who listen to your problems and explain medically the meaning of terms. Dr. Karunesh is one of them. I was looking for a doctor who can advise me on my preventive health check up reports. Dr. Karunesh listened very patiently and explained the meaning of each and every term and gave a very unbiased advise on supplements to be taken and diet changes to be done. He is friendly yet very professional. I'll definitely follow his advise and would refer my family and friends to him. I wish him all the best! Thank you
