Ms. Hijab Bilgrami

I started going to Dr.Hijab a few months ago when I realised that I had anxiety and severe depression , before going to her I tried to deal with it on my own but soon i realised that i needed help. When I started going to her she gave me the assurance that it was a safe space for me to talk about my thoughts freely. She gave me the reassurance that I'll get through this phase. She taught me how to deal with my anxiety and depression , she talked to me like a friend which made it easier for me to open up to her and tell her everything that was going on in my mind. She never judged me and tried to walk me through every step of my way to get rid of my depression. Every session I had with her was different and we didn't always talk about depression we used to have normal conversations that took my mind off of it. All of our sessions were confidential and anything that we talked never came out of that room. She is an amazing person by heart and she went out of her way to help me out. I would recommend her to anyone who's going through depression or anxiety cuz she really knows how to help you out of it and make you feel safe and comfortable.

I am extremely satisfied with my psychologist and with the treatment I have received from Dr Hijab Bilgrami at Reach Psychiatry. I was suffering from anxiety and went for initial check-up at first. Hijab spent good time to listen to my concerns, and took the care to calm me down. Then she made me understand my problem and helped me overcome my anxiety. Her treatment therapy had an immediately noticeable improvement on my condition. She is very approachable and I know I can contact her outside my appointment times. I have had a vast improvement in my lifestyle and now able to handle my thoughts well and calmly resolve them.
