Visited For Glaucoma Evaluation / Treatment
We could not see the Dr as the wait time was too long for aged patient. When I booked the appointment I did confirm if there would be long wait time , and I was told no and was asked to early by 10 min. Please inform all your staff of the hospital wait times. We spent rs 400 for auto . Very unhappy *** *** * *** *********** The hospital staff were good but we could no wait for 3 hrs to see the Dr. as patient is 90 yrs and cannot sit for that long.
The doctors are good. Dr. Hemanth Murthy explained that the water leakage in my eye veins will take 15 to 20 days to resolve. I would rate his clarity and explanation as 5 stars.

Although it took us about 3 hours after booking an appointment, the doctor himself very patiently went through our reports and explained the condition very well. Highly recommended.

I had vision blurring due to complicated cataract. I visited all top eye clinics in Bangalore, and no body could treat my condition and the only option given was Surgery with high risk of completion vision. I was worried and at last found Dr Hemanth Murthy after 26 years in Retina Institute of Karnataka, who decided to go for Yag in my Left eye and on 17-Nov-2021 completed Yag very successfully. Now my vision has improved drastically. I'm very thankful to Dr Hemanth Murthy and Retina Institute of Karnataka.

In the 2006 when we lived in B'lore my left eye had a Retina Detactment & it was attended by Dr. Hemant Murthy & "Scleral Buckling" was done by Dr. Murthy. Within couple of months of surgery, we had to move to Mumbai to join my new job. Ever since then, I travel to B'lore for my f/up after ensuring availability of Dr. Murthy. Couple of days ago, I developed blurred vision in my right eye & since it was a little scary I got an appointment of a leading Retina specialist Doctor's appointment here in Mumbai & he was amazed to see the fantastic job done for my left eye by Dr. Murthy. In fact I have visited couple of more Retina specialist here in Mumbai for my right eye & all are of the same opinion that my left eye "Scleral Buckling" done by Dr. Hemant Murthy is "perfect" in all respects. I have a very high regard & respect for Dr. Hemant Murthy which will always remain in my heart.
