I recently consulted Doctor Gautham for grade 2 haemorroid and fissure related consultation at Sai Multi-speciality Clinic near Arekere, Bangalore. Since Sir had earlier operated and fully treated my Mother-in-law for Hernia, he was well known to my husband who recommended that I consult him first as he also treats piles, fissures and other related ailments.My problem had been recurring for past 4years and at times got painful impacting work and daily activities. I had been following conservative treatment on my own everytime the problem occurred but was to no avail and just a temporary fix for few days/ weeks adding on to my frustration.Post diagnosis by Dr Gautham, he suggested that I get a laser Fissurectomy and hemorrhoidopexy done to get rid of the problem in the long run as it was already in grade 2 and with time it would only aggravate and complicate the situation. I was a bit hesitant initially to give in immediately for surgery at once but what he suggested not only made sense but somehow I could also sense a genuine care for his patient. He is very calm, composed, highly ************** caring and extremely humble. Appreciate his quick responsiveness over chat, calls, etc.. he is reachable and always available for his patients no matter how busy he is. A very rare quality of professionalism mixed with a personal touch. These are a few qualities that every anxious patient (like me) would like to see in a doctor treating him/her. I was lucky to have met him without much effort or research. He has honestly answered all my queries well (I must have frustrated him at times with multiple ifs and buts which came out of mere anxiety) but he is a true gentleman and has handled every situation with utmost calm.Honestly, there was no need for me to write this long review as there are already so many feedbacks from his previous patients that attests to his superior skillsets and excellent services. I got my surgery done at Rainbow Hospital Bannerghatta a day before and here I am writing this review as I really wanted to express my sincere gratitude for his kind services.I feel much better now and happy that I got rid of a long standing problem and mental blockage.If you have consulted Dr Gautham, then there is no need for you to look back or hopelessly goose hunt for another doctor. I have been suffering from Acute Pancreatitis for past 8 years and on and off I was getting admitted to various reputed hospitals and nursing homes for this.

But out of the surprise nowhere the exact reason of my ailment got diagnosed properly.

Some of the hospitals told exact etiology of the disease could not be found, in some places I have been told that due to excessive alcohol consumptions I got acute pancreatitis.

But let me tell you guys that I am not alcoholic at all.

Pancreatitis is a nightmare one can have. You can’t stand, you can’t sleep, you can’t have all types of spicy food once you are diagnosed with pancreatitis.

Due to recurrent attack of pancreatitis, eventually it led to Chronic Pancreatitis along with Gall Bladder stones.

After several hospitals, numerous visits to different reputed doctors, one day I met Dr Gautham S L.

This is the first time, I felt that a doctor is listening minutely to a patient without any hurry burry and he tried to find out the exact reason of my Chronic disease without generalising with common myth of Alcohol abusiveness.

He thoroughly checked all my previous medical reports( Even though the reports were as old as 8 years) and came to conclusion as the Gall bladder stones are the main reason of my recurrent Pancreatitis attack.

I was literally very low in morale and tensed as how to lead the rest of my life. He is the one who not only guided me , but also did the laparoscopic surgery for gallbladder stones removal with utmost effective way.

Throughout this, he was very caring and friendly and the treatment which he has given me is outstanding.

What I have observed, he is very professional and responsible in his duty, at the same time he has done a very good counselling job and boosted up my confidence of leading a normal life with the disease.

Many a times I had disturbed him by calling or messaging out of agony. Surprisingly I got everytime a quick response from him.

This helping and friendly nature makes Dr Gautham ahead of others.

I am truly satisfied and a very happy patient under him who not only treated me well but also boosted my morale up!!!

I I had to undergo immediate surgery and had absolutely no money to pay for it. I asked for discount and no one was willing to give me a healthy discount. I was in so much pain. And I didn’t have lunch also that day. Doctor Gautham was so very understanding of the situation and gave me a healthy discount of INR 1000 without any negotiation and without any hesitation. The exact amount of discount I was asking every hospital staff around me for was INR 1,000. Only Dr. Gautham helped me out. I had an abscess removal. And it was my first time I am having any surgery. They was absolutely little to zero pain. I did not feel any pain after the surgery. In 24 hours time now I can walk very well. Absolutely no problem. Just amazing experience. He asked me about my profession when doing the surgery, made me feel at ease. We need more doctors like him. I felt so safe in his hands.

Again, I came to him the next day for dressing changes and the charges were INR 400. But he could see my financial condition and waived that entire amount. Wow! He told me how to take care of my post-op area at home.

I just want to tell Dr. Gautham thank you. But most importantly a bigger thanks to his parents, for raising a wonderful human being into society. He could have become anything, but he chose this path. I am happy our paths crossed each other.

Maybe we will not see each other in the future, but just know, I will never forget you and if I see you in public, I certainly come over and give my regards in person.

Dr. Gautham S L is very kind and friendly, making you feel comfortable during the procedure. I had an infected sebaceous cyst treated by him, and he performed the procedure smoothly just like two years ago. I am very satisfied and would definitely recommend him.

I want to share a totally disappointing experience at Camrys hospital due the gastroentrologist Dr.Gautam S L

I had booked an appointment for one of my family members with the gastroenterologist, Dr. Gautam S L at Camry's Hospital. The receptionist had confirmed that the doctor would be available at 11:30 a.m. on October 21, 2025. We reached the hospital around 11:20 a.m. and waited for about 15 minutes. When the doctor arrived, we could see him arriving as we were seated there. *** ******* ******** ******** ***** ********** ** ************** ****** ** ** ** *** ******* ***** ***** ** *** *********

We were then called into the consultation room. My family member, who had not eaten for nearly two weeks, was extremely weak and barely able to speak. ******** *** ******** ******** *** ********** **** *** ************ He did not even take the time to listen to what the patient was trying to say and seemed to be in a hurry throughout the consultation. Dr. Gautham S L was very calm and professional. He examined me thoroughly and explained everything clearly.

I want to share our experience with Dr. Gautham S L, who recently performed a laparoscopic umbilical hernia surgery for my father. Right from the start, he was extremely kind and reassuring. He explained everything clearly, answered all our questions with patience, and really helped ease our worries before the surgery.

We had also planned to go ahead with gall bladder removal during the same procedure, since my dad has multiple gallstones. But while performing the surgery, Dr. Gautham noticed an infection. He spoke to us immediately, explained the situation in detail, and after taking our consent, decided to postpone the gall bladder surgery to avoid any risk. I got diagnosed inguinal hernia and needed to get treated. I had booked a consultation with Dr Gautham S L to get treated for Phimosis. I was suggested to undergo ZSR Circumcision for the same and the doctor answered all my questions and clarified all the doubts that i had on the surgical and the recovery process. The surgery was very smooth and i was discharged the next day.

This was my very first surgery and the doctor clearly understood the anxiety that i carried and was patient enough to clarify on all my questions and concerns which gave me confidence.

For the follow up visit, as i had to visit the clinic from a far off place, despite of another commitment, Doctor was kind enough to wait till I reached the clinic even if I was late by almost half an hour, with all patience, again answered all my questions and made me feel much better mentally.

Its been 10 days after the surgery and now i have almost completely recovered.

Regarding the clinic, it was clean and all the staff in the clinic were friendly.

Dr Gautham is a gentleman and undoubtedly stands out of all the doctors that i have met till now.
