Dr. Yadhu K Lokanath

Dr. Yadhu K Lokanath is a well-qualified Neurosurgeon with special interest in treating spectrum of spine disorders right from paediatric to geriatric population. In 2016, he completed his super speciality training in neurosurgery from KLE university, Belagavi and has been associated with Aster CMI and Aster RV hospital, Bangalore since then. Over the years he has worked at reputed spine centres across the world Adapting latest principles and technology in his daily practices is what Dr Yadhu Lokanath believes in. The present era in spine surgery is towards minimising the collateral damage which can be achieved using techniques of minimal invasive and endoscopic spine surgery. Minimalism in endoscopic surgery encouraged him to pursue further training in percutaneous endoscopic spinal surgery as an international visiting surgeon program at St Peter’s hospital, Seoul, Korea.With growing number of people suffering from spinal disorders his passion is towards understanding and identifying the origin of pain and treating them with compassion and care and is intended in relieving pain and restoring normal function of patients.He is currently working as consultant Neurosurgeon and Spine Surgeon at Aster RV Hospital and visits other centres in south and central Bangalore
