Dr. Vinod Revankar

A good doctor is one who is first a great human being and second, can reduce half of your illness just by making you feel at ease. Dr. Revankar is a perfect example of that. We first met Dr. Revankar in 2015 when my husband was having a heart attack and rushed to ER. He performed Angioplasty and Stenting. Since then, we have been consulting him for the entire family, including my father, mother and father in law. My father in law had open heart surgery when he was younger and my father recently had bypass surgery.

His commitment to his patients is tremendous. In case of serious concerns, you can reach him anytime. He always calls back to check in case he couldn't answer earlier.

He treats his patients with utmost respect. He explains his diagnosis and treatment in a very detailed manner which makes us feel very confident and at peace. He can communicate very effectively with all levels of patients by giving them the exact information they need.

When heart medications are prescribed, it usually takes few weeks to months for adjusting to them and to know their efficacy as each individual is different. Dr. Revankar hand held us throughout these periods for my husband, father in law and father.

We consulted Dr. Vinod back in 2019, when my mother suffered chest pain and uneasiness. We had no clue about his expertise but just picked his name through Practo. He took time and analysed my mother's health condition to know the actual root cause of the problem. My mother has been suffering from blockage in the heart. He carefully assessed every report, spoke to my mother (he actually wants the patient to tell what they are feeling and not others), and recommended the immediate treatments. I would certainly recommend Dr. Vinod Revankar,was proactive and explained me in detail about the pain that I was going through, diagnosed with a muscle catch near my chest ( forgot the scientific terminology ) and indeed answered all of my queries ,Advised me to take ECG test just to be on safer side and the result was all normal.

I had undergone a surgery in the lungs in order to remove the blood clots that were formed due to pulmonary embolism. Before surgery they had placed an IVC filter in my IVC vein to stop the blood clots(in the leg) from moving further towards the lungs,. After a few weeks of surgery, Dr.Vinod had performed a procedure to remove the IVC filter. After surgery I have been consulting Dr. Vinod Revankar for further treatment and follow up.

We are very satisfied with his treatment. He listens to all our concerns patiently. He is highly committed and he is always reachable for any concerns or queries. He always attends our calls at any time and in case if he is not reachable, he calls back immediately when he is free.

His practical knowledge in the field of cardiology is so immense that he understood the situation of my very close relative within 15 secs of our 1st telephonic conversation (which was not detected by our family doctor in spite of 3 visits). He makes his patients feel at ease and explains the nitty gritty of the medical procedure to be performed by him.

A small incident which explains his intelligence: saw the tablets prescribed to my father by dr.x took 3mins to analyse the content of tablets told one tablet is increasing Na+ content in the body n the other one is decreasing it..later cancelled all the tablets of my father n with his medication father is doing fine.before consulting to Dr.Vinod my father was bedridden now after consulting him he is doing fine nt bedridden anymore and is spending quality time with us.

I had started developing some pain in the left side of my chest for which I had consulted Dr. Vinod. He was very approachable and patient in hearing out all my concerns, right after the clinical examination he reassured me that there wasn't anything to be worried about but decided to go for an ECG and ECHO test to be 100% sure. The expense for both these tests was covered by the cost for consultation. After the tests, he went through the results at length.

I was thoroughly satisfied and would highly recommend Dr. Revanth's services to anyone.

Also a note on something unrelated. In a stark departure from stereotypes about doctors and their hand writings, his writing is impeccable, almost like reading calligraphy.

Dr Vinod Revankar is a very excellent Doctor and above all a very good person, friendly with lot of patience. For my aged mother I have been consulting him for couple of years for Cardiac related treatment. We have lot of confidence and trust in his treatment and my mother is very comfortable with his treatment.

Recently my mother developed clot in her right leg and it was very critical. I immediately rushed her to People tree hospital for treatment which is almost 22 km from my house just because of Dr Vinod Revankar and my mother was at the right hands. He immediately analyzed the condition of the leg, explained me the criticality of the situation and had Catheter-Directed Thrombolysis procedure successfully done to remove the clots. And thanks to the Doctor she was out of danger.
