Dr Vijayananda hiremath is a renowned Consultant and Surgeon (Ayurveda) in Bengaluru, who has pursued post graduate in Ayurvedic surgery and fellowship in Emergency medical services and has been on the field for 10 yrs. Has the experience in the ano rectal practice since 5 years specially in para surgical procedure like Ksharasutra /Ksharakarma for(piles/ fistula ) and laser for piles and fistula, DGHAL(Doppler-guided haemorrhoidal artery ligation), IRC(infrared coagulation). Which are minimal invasive day care procedure, scientific, safe, effective and economic with low recurrence rate and no complication like anal stenosis and anal incontinence. He has guided students in U.G and P.G. Served in reputed institute. He has the experience in conducting the medical camps and creating awareness among the rural population. Conducted many workshops on surgical skills. He has also published research papers in international medical journals Especially on Diseases like Piles, Fistula, Fissure.
