Dr. Vijay A Kulkarni

My brother in law had an emergency surgery for his right leg fracture due to accident. Dr Vijay Kulkarni did the surgery. Though he is little busy, he has been very friendly and clarified all our doubts. My brother in law is recovering fast and very happy with the treatment.

My wife had a planned surgery for removal of a loose mass (calcification) in left foot and frozen left shoulder. Dr Vijay discussed the problem thoroughly and suggested surgery for removal of growth in foot. Surgery went off well at Astra Super Specialty Hospital. Though Dr Vijay seems to be little busy, he discusses problem well and finds a solution.

Astra hospital staff (cleaners, nurses, admin staff, and the canteen boy) took good care. Cleanliness was very good.

Hi, We consulted Dr Vijay Kulkarni for an ACL repair for a second opinion but he explained the process, risks and recovery procedure so well that we decided to go to him for surgery. He is available to answer any questions or queries over phone any time. He is very supportive for rehabilitation process as well. We consulted him again for a nerve pinch again for my husband and totally happy with the consultation. I would definitely recommend him for ortho issues.

had a disappointing experience with Dr. Vijay Kulkarni. Despite registering at 3:45 PM, the doctor arrived at 5:30 PM. Before that, a person claiming to be Vivek examined me and said that he himself was Vijay Kulkarni, which was confusing. Later I asked in counter they told me like he is a trainee working under him.

Then I wait for the Kulakarni to come ,and finally he came at 5.40PM

Dr. Kulkarni spent only a minute examining me and didn't ask about my symptoms or provide proper treatment. He ************* prescribed an X-ray, and when I brought the report, he glanced at it for just a second and said everything was fine.

The clinic was dirty and the staff was not helpful * **** **** *** ********** ******** *** *************** as he spent more time with female patients and rushed through consultations with male patients.

I would advise against visiting this doctor if you're looking for proper medical care. To improve, Dr. Kulkarni should focus on providing more thorough examinations, listening to patients' concerns, and maintaining a more professional demeanor.

I was having Knee pain in left leg for few days. I showed to Dr vijay who after examining for 10 seconds concluded as 'lateral femoral condyle tenderness' . After a week, pain was in complete thigh which he concluded after examining for 30 seconds as Thigh Spasm. I showed to another reputed orthopedic surgeon in vicinity. ** ******** ** *** ** ***** *** ******* ********* ** ** *** *** ********* **** *** ******** ** ******** ** ****** *** ** ** * ***** *** ********* ******* ** ** ******* ********** * ***** ** ********* **** ***** Won't recommend him at all. I have seen this trend with other Kauveri doctors as well, they don't spend more than a minute with the patient.

Extremely unprofessional. Appointment was at 7:30 PM, didn't arrive till 8:30. When I asked the receptionist to check with him again, said he'd take another 20 minutes. All of this during such uncertain times when a curfew is imposed at 9.

Go somewhere else people, clearly doesn't respect your time or safety.

I was suffering from left Rib/muscle Injury.

Doctor was very quick-witted to understand my problem and then prescribed the required medicine.

Thanks to doctor Kulkarni my grandmother, aged 77, went through a complete knee replacement and showed great improvement in her condition. He is an amazing doctor and managed to help someone of her age without any complications. We are extremely grateful for the treatment he provided and would absolutely and highly recomend him to everyone.
