I visited Dr Venkateshwar for my kidney stone issue. My stone size was small but the position was obstruct and it was causing hydronephrosis. I was afraid of surgery so I opted for medicinal treatment. Dr has been patient with me he understood my fear and prescribed me medicines for 2 weeks but stone density was more and it was stuck so ultimately we had to go for surgery but this doctor let me earn my trust for the surgery he did not rush me into it. And he is expert in his field did the procedure neatly. I had the stone removal procedure and then stent was placed for few weeks and stent removal procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Venkateshwar Rao K.
My experience with Dr. Venkateshwara Rao K was good. The doctor explained everything clearly, and the visit went smoothly. I rated my experience 4.5 and would recommend this doctor to others.
The doctor explained everything clearly and I would recommend him to others. My experience was good overall, though the wait time could be improved. I rated the visit 3.5 out of 5.
I visited Dr. Venkateshwara Rao K on June 12th. He asked for a test and called us after two days. When I visited again, it was clear it was a hernia, but after 15 days, he referred me to another doctor in just one minute. He could have told me this during the second visit.
My experience with Dr. Venkateshwara Rao K was good; I would rate it a 4 out of 5 and I am willing to recommend him to others. However, I suggest that the doctor could explain the reasons behind health problems and what to avoid in the future a bit more clearly.
My experience with Dr. Venkateshwara Rao K was average as he seemed to be in a rush and did not explain everything very clearly, but overall it was okay. I would rate the visit 4 out of 5.
Dr. Venkateshwara Rao was very professional, patient, and considerate. His approach was both highly professional and humane, and he suggested feasible and effective medical solutions. The hospital was clean and systematic, which made the overall experience very positive.

I visited the doctor for treatment of infection called Balanoposthitis. Medicines that were costliest were prescribed. Medicines with same chemical formula were far more cheaper. However, still I went for the same medicine names that doctor wrote. In the first appointment itself doctor advised surgery. He also wrote several tests. I suffered from stubborn Balanoposthitis infection. The doctor prescribed some antibiotics to treat the condition rather than referring me to a Dermatologist. After medicines prescribed by him did not solve the problem, I went to a dermatologist who solved the problem within minutes. Doctor also informed me that if the medicines do not solve the problem I will have to go for surgery or circumcision rather than referring me to a Dermatologist. I suggest all doctors to refer all Balanoposthitis cases to Dermatologists. Antibiotics prescribed by all three urologists including doctor Rao made my problem worse. I also faced severe side effects of all these anti-biotics. On 27th June 2017 a major English daily newspaper published a report titled Urinary tract infections are turning deadly because of rampant antibiotic use prescribed by doctors and every year kidneys of around 4-5 patients fail because of this. Its a humble request, please refer us to a correct doctor if it is not your cup of tea. Treat us as patients and not as Customers. PS: One important note: This doctor did not give the receipt for his consultation fees as well. ** **** ****** ** ***** ******** *** ******* ******** The disease identified by Dermatologist was CANDIDIAL BALANOPOSTHITIS and not just Balanoposthitis. Dermatologist informed that this doesn't fall under the jurisdiction of Urologists as its a skin disease.

Dr. Venkateshwara Rao seems to be more of a mentor to his patients for their Urological well-being than just a doctor. A kidney stone is what first brought me to him. It was my father who had the kidney stone since 2009 and unfortunately none of the doctors ever advised for a surgery. Although my father was suffering from high creatinine and allied issues, but it was first Dr. Rao who advised for an immediate surgery to solve the root cause of the urological / nephrological disorders. Although I was a bit sceptical about the surgery (considering my father is 73), but his timely advise and “Pep-Talks” has not just made my father undergo the surgery successfully but it still continues to motivate him on the post surgery rehabilitation. Thank you Doctor for helping my father to restart his life, at the age of 73!
I agree that there are numerous qualified doctors in the city who are great at their job, but I highly recommend Dr. Rao to patients who are looking for a “Friend” in their “Doctors”. You will never be disappointed when he is around!
