A small ‘urological’ ailment had been nagging me for about a year or so. As a senior citizen approaching 80 years of age, I was made to understand by others around me, who would casually say that such problems are age-related and nothing as such was unusual. Yet, the issue continued to nag me, and I started getting a bit worried. As I was wondering how to go about it, a relative of mine suggested that I ought not to ignore the issue, and advised me to consult a ‘Urologist’ at the earliest. Based on his own earlier experience, the said relative suggested that I consult Dr. Venkatesh Krishnamoorthy in this regard. Accordingly, I contacted NU Hospital, and took an appointment for consultation with Dr. Venkatesh Krishnamoorthy.

On the appointed date, after completion of various preliminary tests at the hospital, I was waiting to meet Dr. Venkatesh Krishnamoorthy. Naturally, I was a bit anxious as this was the first time I would be meeting him. However, the moment I stepped into his consultation room, my whole perception changed. Contrary to what I had visualized of him, I found Dr. Venkatesh Krishnamoorthy to be a very calm, pleasant and unassuming gentleman. He was extremely patient while I described to him about my problem in detail, and he earnestly listened to me with rapt attention throughout the session. He gave me some preliminary advice, as we had to wait for all my test reports to come. He clarified that he would further advise me specifically based on the reports once they were available. As such, another session with the said doctor at a later date was scheduled by the hospital. Nevertheless, suffice to say that my entire interaction with Dr. Venkatesh Krishnamoorthy was a very refreshing experience, and his soft-spoken words were very reassuring that made me feel as if I had no problem at all !

At the second session, all the relevant test reports were placed before Dr. Venkatesh Krishnamoorthy. Upon his scrutiny of the same, and keeping in mind the anxieties, fears and worries I had expressed before him, in addition to giving me specific medical advice pertaining to the issue on hand, he went on to instill in me a lot of confidence while explaining how to go about things and be positive in life. The nature of his advice was very apt and applicable to every person, particularly the ones like me who were about 80 years of age, or more. Of course it is another thing that fortunately for me, my problem was not that big that required to be specifically addressed, as categorically assured by the doctor himself. Yet, I must say that Dr. Venkatesh Krishnamoorthy not only addressed the specific issue on hand, but rather encompassed the domain of holistic healing insofar as I am concerned. Today, I feel much more positive in body and mind than I was earlier, and overall I feel much healthier, and feel thoroughly rejuvenated spiritually as well as emotionally. All thanks to Dr. Venkatesh Krishnamoorthy.

I have had multiple appointments with 4 different doctors before reaching out to Dr Venkatesh. I was being diagnosed wrongly by all these doctors initially and thus was treated for wrong diseases. However, it was 2015 when I decided to meet one more doctor before giving up on my pain due to the disappointment.

Things started with a positive interaction with this doc and he then could figure out my actual problem with two visits and then he started my medication. I was asked to continue medication for 2 years and then I consulted again to check on stopping medication. He compared my latest KUB ultrasound with the same of 2015 and confirmed that I am completely recovered.

I am very happy now and really satisfied with the treatment.
