She completed her medical degree at Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal and post-graduation from Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Bhopal in 2006. She subsequently completed a fellowship in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismology at Arvind Eye Hospital in 2008 During her post-graduation, she won the award for the best thesis of the yearShe has worked at Arvind Eye Care and Vasan Eye Care prior to joining Narayana Nethralaya as a ConsultantShe specializes in Paediatric Eye Diseases, especially medical and surgical management of congenital and developmental Cataract, Squint, Amblyopia etc.She has various international publications in her name and has been an invited speaker at numerous conferences. She has also been actively involved in training postgraduates and fellows
