I’m one of those patients that do not usually get any treatments in Bangalore and prefer to visit a doctor in my native. But this time, given the severity and condition of my teeth, I had to take a chance. I started my search on practo for a maxillofacial surgeon in Bangalore. And doctor T Ramakrishna came across with highest of positive feedback and now I now why. 🙂

Coming to treatment: I consulted doctor over wisdom teeth extraction, the one that was very close to a nerve. I must tell you, doctor has done a tremendous job. I am absolutely delighted that I came across this facility, team and doctor.

Team are kind and supportive. This is my second day after tooth extraction and I can tell that the nerve closer to this tooth is still intact and no damage whatsoever - no numbness 🙂.

A big thank you to Doctor, his team and practo. Also, apologies to doctor as I was way too nervous - sorry.

I had horrible tooth ache and realized it was wisdoom tooth related issue. Since I have never had any dental issues, I was scared to even meet a dentist!

When I realized my wisdom tooth had to be extracted, I was very anxious and had my own inhibitions. After speaking to Dr Ramakrishna, I got the confidence that the procedure will be painless. After reaching there, I got to know that 2 of my wisdom teeth had to be removed! He calmed me down, and within next 5 minutes, he had extracted 2 teeth! When I was just the expecting that the procedure would start, he told the procedure was already over! Frankly speaking, I was very relieved!

He did give some simple and basic instructions, following which, I have recovered completely! This is my 3rd day after tooth extraction and I'm all well!! In fact, the day my tooth were extracted, within next half an hour I went on Google and was able to write a review, I was in such a good shape! Today, writing a review here!

All in all, I'm happy I got a doctor that I can trust!

I recently visited Dental Profiles clinic. Dr. T Ramakrishna sir for my RTC treatment, and I must say that the entire experience was truly remarkable. Dr. Ramakrishna's friendly demeanor and exceptional treatment skills left a lasting impression on me. Moreover, the staff at the dental clinic displayed a high level of professionalism and friendliness, contributing to an overall positive atmosphere. I am extremely satisfied with the service I received and would highly recommend Dr. Ramakrishna and his team. It was truly a great experience.

Before starting, He explained complete process of tooth extraction how it is done with steps.

I was bit scared of this process, because I saw somany videos on this in YouTube. But when he started the process believe it or not I didn't even feel the pain of Anesthesia also after that everything happened in minutes. I'm really thankful to Dr Ramkrishna for painless tooth extraction process.

Not sure about JP Nagar branch but Doddakannelli is not a hygienic place both outside the clinic or inside. Although I went there with positive mindset by reading the feedback here, I felt nothing is organized and the concern or care shown was little more and dramatic, not really genuine. I was suggested to get all 4 teeth removed same day and when I go inside for the procedure doctor himself was shocked that x-ray was not taken earlier!! that made me little nervous. and the receptionist does multitasking including taking x-rays, arrange tools and adjust light and suction, etc without using gloves!! I didn't find that really professional at least for the money they charged for very straightforward *** ************** **** ***** *** * **** ******* ** *** *** I had braces in place. No precaution was taken to avoid damage to either braces or gums. As everyone says doctor did his job very confidently and without pain on the spot, *** * *** ******* ******* ** *** ***** ** **** ***** * ******** ***** *** ******** **** ***** * **** ***** ***** *** ********** I thought he would stop but he encouraged me to finish all same day. For me he didn't explain any procedure or precaution before surgery despite asking. when asked about precaution or post surgery care, receptionist said she will give post surgery. When I asked before should I refrain from brushing, doctor said no need. but after surgery he only suggested not to brush for 2 days!! I got a shock as to why I trusted!! but then as he told earlier with 6 six injections I had painless procedure but had pain for a week which would reduce only with pain killers. Ulcer from the bruise an added and most troublesome pain where I could not talk or eat or smile. When I visited my orthodontist, * *** **** *** ******* *** ******** ****** ** ****** *********** ***** ****** ******** **** **** ******* * ***** *** **** ** **** *** ****** **** ** ******** ***** **** **** ** *********** ** *********** **** ** *** **** ** ***** ***** ** *** ******* I had to visit twice ******* ** **** and guess what The main doctor is not seen after surgery although they always say the main doctor is there!! Why lie? **** **** ** ** ***** ** **** *** ****** ******* ** **** **** ** *** ** ** ***** ****** ** **** ** ******* ******* ** *** ******* ***** During suture removal, the assistant doctor adjusted light with gloved fingers and uses same to remove suture. I had asked specifically if i had to get someone, but doctor said no need. But I realized such a big mistake I did by accepting that. ** ** ****** ***** * ********** ****** ***** **** **** *** *** ***** ***** *** ** *** ** ** ** ********** ********* ** **** ***** ******* *** ******* *** ** ****** *********** ***** ******* ** ****** **** ***** **** ** *** * *** **** But be assured, as everyone says won't have pain as you will be given enough injections. Maybe I expected too much from earlier feedback I guess, hence little taken aback.

I got my horizontally impacted wisdom tooth extracted by Dr. T. Ramakrishna @Dental Profiles Clinic, JP Nagar 7th phase. I don't recommend this Doctor and clinic *** ******** ********** ***********

Hygiene Issue

The guy assisting the Doctor wasn't wearing gloves and a mask when the surgery started. After some time the doctor reminded his assistant to wear a mask. *************** *** ********** ************* ********* ****** ********* ** ** *** **** ** ****** **** ******* ** ****** ********** *********** **** *** *********** ** **** * *********** ** *** ******* When the Doctor is charging 6.5K for an impacted wisdom tooth extraction surgery, he should hire someone well-trained to assist him during surgery.

Doctor friendliness, Addressing one's concerns

This Doctor isn't humble enough to address your concerns. I was shocked to hear his response to another dentist during surgery. Dr. Anvitaa reminded Dr. T. Ramakrishna that the patient wanted to know about the type of sutures used. He responded by saying "No Explanation".

I have not came across such a arrogant and rude doctor in my life. I had an appointment at 3 PM and when I visited the clinic he asked to come at 7 PM stating “You stay in Bengaluru so it shouldn’t be a problem for you”. Also, other hand he is saying he can’t predict the power situation. I mean seriously you can ask a patient in pain to keep coming and checking if the power has came or not? My point is:

1. When you know that power is not there since morning then you could have rescheduled the appointment over the call stating the same to avoid any hassle for the patient. What’s the use of capturing the patient details then??

The way he was talking as if he is doing the treatment free of cost. Definitely will not recommend this doctor to anyone and will share my experience every where.

Doctor doesn’t attend to the patient himself. His helpers does.

Really don’t understand this concept where you book an appointment for a particular doctor but he doesn’t even come and check.

Also the clinic is super expensive

Tooth extraction is Rs 5000.

Root canal ranges between 8k -15k

And cap is again between 8-12k

So in one visit they told me 3 teeth require three different settings *** ***** ****** ***** **** ********* ******* ****** *** they will tell the final amount only when they perform it.

Helpers were busy running here and there. One helper checked passed on the ipad to another who gave the meds and asked to pay the bill but had no clue about the medicines given.

Had to run behind them to ask what med is for what.

Very unorganised but yes super hygienic . They don’t even let the person accompanying the patient to enter the room. How much will a patient understand who is already in pain!

Plus in the entire process didn’t see the doctor even once!

Highly unprofessional:

Doesn't explain the problem to the patient. Even after asking multiple times, he didn't give a proper budget and everytime went on adding few other procedures.

There is no plan of action explained to the patient in written prior to doing any treatment.

My father had to go for teeth extraction followed by a bridge. while i asked the doctor for the pricing he mentioned it to be 39k including extraction. My dad and husband also asked him about the pricing and he said the same. Later he charged for the extracted separately and said 39k was excluding the extraction. I'm wondering how can 3 people understand/ hear incorrectly!

Extracted a tooth and left a part of the tooth inside. when i told the doctor about it, he said that was a bone. do you mean the jaw bone came out?

Everytime I had to remind him of the procedure that needed to be done as he didn't remember the case each time i went and rather suggested for additional procedures.

Doctor called for stitch removal and scaling. he removed the stitches and called me the next day for scaling ( mostly he messed with his appointments and was getting late). Let me tell you I don't have all the time in the world to come to your clinic as and when you call when you cannot manage your own appointments well. I told him i cannot come again and so requested him to finish the scanning which he did then.

Doctor doesnt't talk to the patient. Might talk to the attender. He instead has an assistant *** ******* **** **** *** *******

Bills - when you are taking the fees diligently then please also put the same effort to diligently send bills to the patient. Only after I requested for an ebill, was it given to me.

Lastly I chose to go to another doctor for rest of treatment *** *** ***** **** *** ********* ******

I have visited him couple of times for my dental issues but this time for my father's treatment it was a very bad experience hence would not recommend.

I really am not looking forward to any kind of explanation or excuses.

I am Air Commodore Ashok K Puri, currently with my daughter in Bengaluru for the last 4 months. During my stay, both myself and my wife had to visit Dr Ramakrishna’s Clinic a few times for treatment related to varied dental problems.

I must mention that I found Dr Ramakrishna to be an exceptionally competent, confident and compassionate doctor besides being a thorough gentleman with a very friendly approach towards his patients.

His Clinic too is very neat & clean having taken all possible precautions during the current situation due to COVID-19. The supporting staff is also very courteous and respectful.

I sincerely hope that his reputation spreads ‘near and far’ and more and more persons take advantage of his expertise and the facility that he has so painstakingly created.
