Our son's treatment process is ongoing. We are very happy with Dr. Sushruth's - ********** *** professional expertise *confident handling of the case, *succinct diagnosis and methodical advice / course of action, *his clear communication with our son and us, *his supportive and reassuring availability in person and on the phone without fail, and above all, *our son's sort of readiness to see him on a regular basis, which is unprecedented with any earlier specialists, obviously due to Dr's inspiring that comfort level in him.

Dr Sushruth combines the dynamism of the New School with the values of the Old School; that is precisely the reason l chose him as my therapist;

When l first approached him l was full of anger against the world in general; he has detracted from that anger without being directive and after 3-4 sessions with him l feel much calmer;

He is a gentleman to the core and treats me like a man and not like a recalcitrant child;

I went to meet Dr.Shushruth to get treatment for Anxiety and Depression. It has been an extremely bad experience. He changed my medication suddenly just after a 30 minute session ******* *** ************* *** **** ******* ** ************* He did not warn me of any possible side effects either.

** ******* **** ** ** *** **** ***** * *** ********* **** ************** ************ *** * ******** ** ******** ********* On my second session, he disregarded all my concerns, increased the dosage of same medicine and sent me away. ** ******** ********* ** ******* On my third session, he continued to be dismissive and defensive. He was contradicting himself *** ******* ********* **** ** ** ********* ** *** *** **** **** ** *********** *** *********** ** *** ************* *** *********** *** *** ** ******* *** His response was again to increase the dosage. He also contradicted himself in every turn.

1) He had initially conveyed to my therapist that my medications were wrong and that's why he changed them. So when I asked why my meds were changed drastically and isn't it better to change it gradually over a period of time - he said both my earlier and current medication is possibly the same. ** ** ****** *** **** *** ******

2) He accused me of reading too much on internet and that they might be wrong. But in the same sentence, he said that both medications are basically the same and that I can consult the internet

3) When I got disappointed and angry over his lack of accountability, his only response was to say that I need to get admitted.

At that point, I realized there is no point in even continuing this conversation. I have consulted 2 other Psychiatrists after him *** **** **** ********* **** ******** ********** *********** *** **** *** **** **** ******* *** **** ******** **** ********* ** ******* **** ****** ****** ********** ** **** ********* ****** ** ***** *** ********* ** *********** *** *** ** ** ****** ****** ****** * **** ***** **** ********** *** **** ***** *** *** ******* ** * **** We trust doctors and experts with our mental health. Experiences like these is why there is so much fear and stigma about mental health in our society. ** **** ** **** ** ** ** **** ********* ****** ** ***** ********** ** **** ** *** *** *** ** ********* ***** ******** ********* *** ********* ********* *** **** ** *********** ** **** ******* *** mostly his response to any concerns raised with the treatment is the main reason why I would not be recommending this doctor. Mental health is hard enough to manage without doctors being an extra burden.

Seemed to be in a hurry sometimes. *********** ******* ****** ****** **** ** ********* Conversation revolved around changing doses of meds and no other help. did explain certain issues but I want more involvement than this.

Dr. Sushruth has been a boon. There were a lot of pre-conceived notions about what questions I will be asked, my reluctance towards medicines and if they would be forced, and the fear of how I don't want to be addicted to meds. Speaking to Dr. Sushruth has been so beneficial. Not only did he break a lot of myths about mental well-being but also helped me take charge of my own mind and body through simple, everyday activities. As I write this, I wish everybody experiencing anxiety or distress meets a doctor of this stature who is a listener and so kind & compassionate with the way they onboard the patients. I am returning more confident, calm and faithful towards my dreams, people and community I belong to. Very thankful to Dr. Sushruth- it's been a wonderful, enlightening journey!

The doctor is a good listener and he had diagnosed me for having psychosis. I agree that I had symptoms of psychosis, but once I was having issue with my haircut and it was bothering me a lot. my experience was good ****** **** *** **** **** *** ********* how he explained me. everything was right but one thing i want to tell is he gave me vitamin tablets which cost me 600 nd rest he gave medicine for OCD which cost me around 350 only. this i felt bad that vitamin medicine was not that important actually. after coming back to home i got to know thiz otherwise i would have not buy dat vitamin tablet.. dats it rest i can say doctor was very good for treatment i think after all even they want to earn money.. these mistake is mine i had to be carefull🙂

I visited Dr Susruth for Bipolar Disorder treatment.

He was extremely patient while listening to my history. His calm way of listening to me reassured me that he is giving importance to all minute details.

He never appeared to be in a hurry, which I thought was very different to all psychiatrists that I visited before, during about 20 years of my treatment.

Dr. Susruth started by giving a short explanation of the illness and the function of each tablet that I consume. He gave me some activities which suggested an innovative way of dealing with the issue.

I recommend the doctor and also advise patients to have medicines regularly which is the clincher for psychiatric patients.
