Dr. Sushanth Shivaswamy

Dr. Sushanth Shivaswamy is a specialist in the field of Pediatrics and Neonatology. He completed his MBBS from JN Medical College, Belgaum in 2004 and did his postgraduate training (MD) in Pediatrics from JJM Medical College, Davangere. He completed his RCPCH Fellowship in Neonataology from Imperial College Health Care NHS trust between 2010 and 2012. He is well trained in treating sick newborns with respiratory disorders, extreme prematurity (< 28 weeks or < 1000 grams), neurological-developmental disorders, and surgical and cardiac defects, His multi-disciplinary training has given him the knowledge and skills required to deal with the challenging problems encompassing the field of pediatrics and critical care management of newborns. He has worked as a consultant in Pediatrics and Neonatology at leading hospitals in India and is passionate about ensuring optimal health outcomes for children through simple and cost effective interventions in the NICU, OPD and the community.
