I visited Dr. Sunitha at Apollo Mahadevapura Clinic after experiencing a persistent ear blockage following a scuba dive. I had tried to clear it myself, which only made things worse.

Over three visits, she was incredibly patient and understanding. On my first visit, she noticed some inflammation and advised against removing the blockage immediately to avoid causing further damage. During the follow-up, she tried different methods, but it was quite stubborn and couldn’t be cleared.

On the third visit, after using Soliwax (I already used it last 5 days 3 times) and waiting for 30-40 minutes, she took her time to ensure it was properly removed. Despite it being the end of a busy day for her, she patiently tried multiple methods — vacuum, water flush, and back to vacuum — until the blockage finally cleared, and my hearing returned to normal.

I really appreciate her calm and persistent approach. She made sure the process was safe and effective without rushing, and I’m glad I went to her.

She is a charmer, both with her communication and her correct diagnosis. I just told her about my allergic sneezing issue and the very first question she asked was “have you recently shifted to bangalore “ and wow she was right as the experience speaks for itself. She suggested me some of the possible allergens like cockroach pallets, dust, pollution but I insisted that please tell me what exactly it is. She very generously guided me that there more than 40 tests to detect exact allergy and that too are very costly which will not at all worthy to find. She convinced me and handled my panic very patiently. I visited her approximately 1 month after my joining, probably in august end or mid September. She prescribed me vozet 5 mg and one more antibiotic or something not sure, but that worked insanely and it got better in 2-3 weeks as these allergies take time to settle down. Thanks for being so kind to me, not all apples in a basket are same.

I was having persisting ear pain and swelling behind ear lobe for last 4 months ,. I had consulted doctors from Manipal and some others . But the issue did not get resolved . Then I consulted Sunitha ma'm . she recognised the issue . She saw all the reports and gave ample time to understand the case . I was having ear infection and for that there was the swelling . She gave me some medicines and asked to do steam inhalation , to avoid cold foods and drinks & some exercise .

I had very good experience with Dr. Sunitha several times. This include illness like ear infection, general wounds Fever and related ailments . Not only with me , but with my kids and whole family. Last week my kid got an eye infection (eye lid got swollen and become red) , It was on Sunday and I checked for a ophthalmologist in several places and I did not get any.
