Dr. Sunil V Furtado is a senior consultant neurosurgeon in Bangalore with over 23 years of experience in Neurosurgery. After specializing in General Surgery, he secured the MCh degree in Neurosurgery from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum; a national institute under the Central ministry of Science and Technology. He worked for 9 years at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute for Higher Medical Sciences at Whitefield, Bangalore. During his stay, he was actively involved with neuro-oncology projects with the Indian Institute of Science and CSIR and focused on brain tumors and cerebrovascular disorders.
