Well, let me begin with saying that I am a Doctor.. I visited Dr. Sreekar for my gynaecomastia, and right away, I knew, he is going to be the surgeon to be operating on me. I need not explain the intricate details coz the the doctor himself takes his time to explain every little doubt you have. Now I am post op day 1 and I feel great. If you are looking for a compassionate, soft spoken, doctor with excellent skills within affordable prices, then look no further. Dr. Sreekar is your doctor. I ask my own patients to trust me as doctor, and when I was a patient, I trusted Dr. Sreekar My advice, you do the same.

Coming from a background where if you tell your parents that you have Gynecomastia they will tell you to go ahead in life with it as this is normal for some guys. But for me Gynecomastia was a trauma for 10 years. I never went without shirt in public. I finally convinced my parents for the surgery. Consulted many doctors all across Bangalore and Delhi. Finally met Dr Sreekar. The way he explained the whole process of the surgery I was very satisfied. I took my dad to the clinic to meet him and he was satisfied with the process. Finally I decided the day on which I wanted the surgery. If you are scared that there will be pain , it’s surgery what about the recovery. Just don’t . Dr Sreekar and team has *** **** experience in this field. I went inside the OT around 11 am , and then shifted to the room by 12:30 pm the procedure lasted for 45 minutes. It was done on general anesthesia. By evening once all my vitals were normal I was discharged. I had the best sleep that night. After 3 days first visit in which my dressing were taken off and I was given compression garment to wear. Few instructions on how to take care of the stitches and how to massage. Second visit was after a month when I was told to start with gym so that my chest will get the shape I wanted. Dr Sreekar was always available on WhatsApp, that’s the best part. Any doubts which I had was cleared on the go. Finally today after 3 months of the surgery I was told to get rid of the compression garment. I never felt this confident in my life. Thanks to Dr Sreekar for bringing an exceptional change in my life. Please people don’t think twice , I know how it feels with Gynecomastia.

Before deciding to have Gyno surgery I did my homework. I had a small pea sized lump of glandular (fibroid) tissue for more than 18 months and I had enough with the pronounced pain from hugging my children or my wife.

Working in the field of medical software, I had multiple people in my network from which to choose. After interviewing multiple surgeons, I felt most at ease with Dr Sreekar. Now only was his bedside manner as a physician calming, his extensive (if not exhaustive) information, including pictures and video found online (on the multiple different types of surgery he performs dependent on the patient's individual and unique situation) was incredibly reassuring. He confirmed to me that he's performed a lot of these types of surgeries and that I would be in great hands.

Once I scheduled the surgery his staff were exemplary in preparing me for the procedure. From providing the forms, to arranging the medications necessary from the pharmacy and most importantly for their concise and detailed explanation every step of the way, I felt confident I was working with the right folks.

Flash forward 3 weeks to the day of the surgery. My wife and I arrived and within 5 minutes we were in the waiting room with one of his nurses who provided my medications and a thorough explanation of what was to come. I was then taken for the surgery.

The next thing I remember is waking up in the recovery room about 1.5 hour later comforted by my wife and the nurse who explained that it was done and the next appointment and all future follow up consultations. Still a bit groggy from the medications, I was relieved I didn't feel any pain nor did I feel the least bit uncomfortable from everything that just transpired.

I'm writing this review literally 19 days from the procedure and the incision has completely healed. Even the scar is barely noticeable. Not only that but within 10-12 days or so, I'll be able to go back to the gym and resume my normal life-free of any pain and barely a remembrance of the painful lump before it.

Gynecomastia is a really important issue for people like me who suffer from it. It really lowers my self-esteem and makes life a little depressing. Having got the surgery from Dr Sreekar, it has changed my life. Let me take you step by step of what happened including the pros and cons.

1st Consultation: I met three doctors to be frank in Bangalore for gynecomastia surgery. I checked their reviews and websites before deciding. The doctors were all genuine but I found Dr Sreekar the most easy to talk to and approachable. He did not show some superiority complex that many doctors sometimes show to patients.

2nd consultation: Though I had read a lot about the surgery and seen videos and met doctors, I met Dr Sreekar again after a few weeks to clarify more doubts. In the meantime he had responded to a few of my queries on whatsapp which was convenient. During the second consultation he examined me again and we went through the whole process again.

Blood tests the next day: My blood tests I got done in a lab near my house in Koramangala. I sent the reports to him and WhatsApp and he said they were fine. he also asked me to stop smoking for the healing to be better. I checked the available dates and opted for one. I had to transfer some advance to the clinic account for confirmation and it was confirmed.

Before the day of surgery: On the previous day of surgery, Dr Sreekar sent me whatsapp message about the pre-surgery guidelines. They were clear and helped me plan better. I got my cousin along as a bystander for the procedure.

On the day of surgery. I was supposed to on empty stomach and I came to clinic by around 8:30am. The staff made me read and fill some forms. Then they inserted an injection line in my left hand and gave some injections. Dr Sreekar then came and did some markings on my chest and again we discussed about some doubts that I had. He marked the gland and fat areas and showed where the cut would be made. Then the anaesthetist came and spoke to me and I was taken to the operating room. There again I was given injections and I slept off. I woke up and was drowsy and had a dressing on my chest. Dr Sreekar’s staff and my cousin were speaking to me. There was no pain as such but was a little sleepy. Then in an hour I recovered and was making some timepass. I was given a juice and made to walk around 4pm. Dr Sreekar check on me thrice in the meantime. Then they gave a discharge summary and bill. I cleared the bill. Before leaving Dr Sreekar explained to me the medications and instruction and dos and fonts after the surgery. Then I left in a cab and my check up was scheduled after two days.

Next day after surgery: I was up and able to do all my routine things. The pressure garment guy came and took measurements for my chest and said he will keep the garment ready on the next day. I was on medications as per instructions.

Check up visit: I came to the clinic after two days. They removed the dressing and my chest was noticeably different. i was looking much better. Dr Sreekar examined me and showed me how to do massage and dressing and take care on my own. There is a flow chart in the discharge summary that is very helpful. its very clear. Then he explained about the pressure garment and other things. Then I went home, took a bath and wore the garment. There was slight bruising on the left side. It went away in a week.

Recovery: I started massaging from the check up date and went to gym after three weeks as I was told. The chest looks really good now and the shape is amazing. I like wearing proper fitting T-shirts and it looks good. Only I know how much this made a difference to my life.

In conclusion what I want to say is that gynecomastia is so easily treated with good recovery. I have no hesitation in saying that Dr Sreekar is genuine and good at what he does. You can trust him blindly.
