Dr. Sowmya Pavan

Well... Where to start!! I've moved to Whitefield an year ago and actively trying to convince but failed miserably due to pcos. Saw online and consulted Dr. Sowmya and she suggested some medications and asked to wait for 2 months to be conceived. I was not very happy as I've already tried for 6 months and was desperate. I thought to give a try and decided to wait and went to her after 2 months for a checkup. she gave some medications and asked to come after my period comes. Bam!!!I was pregnant. Guided me throughout my pregnancy and also encouraged me for normal delivery when most of the doctors push for a csection. She's very straightforward and never beats around the bush. Thank u doc for the wonderful support that u have given me. God bless the work of your hands.

She has an encouraging smile. I went to meet her on Deepavali evening with my husband and 2 pink lines on my pregnancy test kit. She was not in the hospital and we waited for some time. She checked the kit and asked me some questions and told that it is positive and said that they will double check. They did another round of pregnancy check and told that it is really positive but very early. She gave me some advice and told me to take care. I had a scan after a couple of weeks, and it went well. Overall, I feel positive about her.

I delivered my baby on 19/8/2020/under supervision of Dr sowmya pavan. The experience i felt by Dr sowmy was very bad and there should be a rating 0 as per my experience under her. I did consult her from starting of my pregnancy and everything was normal without any risks or complication.

On 34 week I did my last scan an it normal just my baby weight was around 3.3 kg bcz of gestational diabetic Dr. Sowmya pavan told us to admit without labor pain an as per advice we admitted after today an she ensure us she will (induce the pregnancy) she will give medicine for labor pain and watch for 24hrs.

But when i admitted at evening at 8 pm started monitoring NST it was normal movement was good fetal hear rate was very good around 153 she did PV (per vaginal examination) an she insure me that 3 cm cervix is dilated .and she told staff nurse not to start any medication for pain no gel for cervix dilation .and kept me full night by not giving any thing and advice me to not to take any think after 4 am just told me to be in (NPO). Full night non of the doctor have look me nor they have done (PV) ** ***** **** ****** ****** ** ******* ** **** * *** ****** *** ******* ******* *** *** ******* *** *** ****** **********

Next day at 8 :30am staff nurse came and started infusion with Oxycontin that for labor pain 5 unit . And NST monitoring started to monitor fetal hear rate and movement *** *** ****** ******* *** ******

At 9:30 am Dr. Sowmya came an told to close the monitor ** ** **** *** ****** *** *** ******* ********* ** told that cord is prolapse fetal heart rate will go down shift for surgery within 5 sec)and when my husband told i need to 2 minutes for discussion with my family she started to scold by saying who are you to take decision if doctor are her.she is a doctor who take decision for patient it self .And made my husband and me panic and shifted for surgery forcefully.

After surgery in postoperative non of the doctor came to she me once . even duty Dr.Next day 1:30 pm Dr. Sowmya came for rounds . .

I went for pregnancy check up under the guidance of Dr Sowmya pavan. I got delivered on 7/8/20,it was bad experience which i got. ****** *** **** ** ****** during checkup she was preferring for normal delivery to motivate patients. *** *** ****** **** ** * ******** Dr Sowmya told me to get a admit before the labor pain n they inject to get a pain n told me to get admit. What ever she said we did n got admitted evening around 7 pm she gave some tablet to Cervix nst done night ** *** ****** *** ** **** ****** ******* they didn't give me any pain injection they just gave a drips. We clearly asked them to give pain injection but those nurse was seeing faces blindly later i asked doctor she said we already injected inside **** *** ******* *** * they waited til noon n told baby heart beat is low need to do c sec ***** ** **** *** ***** ** ****** ** ***** *** *** * ******* **** *** ** ****** ****** ****** * ** ** **** ******** ** ******* ******* such a bad experience we got. **** *** ****** **** ** ***** **** ****** **** **** *** ** * ********i paid 1.30L. please i suggest none to visit this hospital very bad*** * ******* ****** **** *********

Extremely helpfull doctor with utmost patience to listen all the problems

Suggested very minimum medications and explained natural methods overcome deficiencies such as protein rich diet and all

She is very warm and nice doctor

Not happy with hospital services and doctor. Please be helpful with patients when they need help. Simply do not escape saying we won't handle these cases.

the doctor is very gentle and friendly.i love the way she explains.i will refer all my family and friends.

I had rushed to the nearest hospital at Whitefield as an emergency as my consultation was elsewhere, the doctor and the staff where co operative and i am blessed with a girl baby. i strongly recommend the doctor for the quick response.
