Dr. Shruthi Shivashankar

Dr Shruthi Shivashankar, is a Consulting obgyn at Sadashiv Maatru Clinic. She obtained her ‘MBBS’ degree from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, (KIMS – Bangalore, Karnataka, India) and completed her ‘MS – OBG’ from MS Ramaiah Medical College, (RMC – Bangalore, Karnataka, India). At the age of 29 she had also obtained ‘DNB - OBG’ degree from the National Board of Examinations, India. Her early achievement includes scholarship from board of ‘National Talent Search Exam’ and she is a meritorious medical practitioner to have won Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award. She is specially trained in Comprehensive Abortion Care and common gynecological problems. She has authored few publications in journals of repute both international and national. Her poster publications are recognized at International, National & State level presentation. She has conducted many panel discussions on emerging obstetric topics across the state of Karnataka. From past four years she has been regularly participating and volunteering in health camps at various districts. She has attended many conferences and also member of Bangalore Society of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (BSOG). Research Interest: High Risk Pregnancy, Medical Education, Gynecologic Oncology and Minimal Access Surgery in Gynecology
