Dr. Shivaraj has completed his post-graduation MS orthopaedics from the prestigious and best institute in Karnataka – The Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute and Victoria Hospital, Bengaluru. He earned a Diplomate of National Board from the National Board of Examinations. (DNB). He has further trained in arthroscopy and sport medicine and joint replacement surgery from renowned institute, Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences, Mumbai.He has experience working as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon Raheja hospital, Mumbai and many multispecialty hospitals in Bengaluru. He is also a visiting consultant at multiple hospitals across Whitefield, Bengaluru.He is a highly skilled, patient centric Sports Medicine (knee, shoulder) and Joint replacement consultant with more than 10 years of experience in the field. He is considered one of exceptional diagnostician and surgeon with special interest in knee, shoulder, hip reconstruction- ACL/PCL/MCL/PLC/MPFL/Multi Ligament reconstruction, Bankart/ rotator cuff/SLAP repairs/latarjet, Meniscal repairs, Robotic joint replacement.He is one of few surgeons with experience in Joint preservation procedures-OATS, Autologous minced cartilage implantation, osteochondral fixation. His research papers have been published in International indexed Journals and has presented at various national and international conferences. He has been faculty at various conference and LIVE Cadaveric training programs including robotic joint replacements.
