Years back, I have always hated going to dentists and have tried to avoid it whenever I can.

A swollen face and severe pain due to an untreated cavity morphing into something more scary and saner minds than mine recommending a dentist forced me to meet Dr. Shivaprakasha for the first time, about 4 years ago.

Yes, I was given a review of how bad my tooth was and was given advise bordering admonishment about the state of teeth.

But the Dr also patient explained what had happened, what could happen if this was left as is and also what could be done to treat this and finally gave his recommendation on the way forward. I listen to him then, and a couple of 'tooth shade' caps down the line, I have never had to go through such pain or discomfort.

In my experience, as a rule, Dr Shivaprakasha tries to save a tooth when he can, before he suggests a more severe treatment. The doctor while treating would look for the slightest measure of discomfort, reassure you and go forward with the treatment. Every session would be topped with recommendations for prevention and general care guidance. The clinic is clean, airy and well lit, with equipment including xrays available.

While I am indeed a loyal patient, many of my acquaintances and friends have started seeing dentists in new light after meeting Dr. Shivaprakasha.

Dr. Shivaprakasha seemed very knowledgeable. I had visited him only for a general checkup where I had been facing problem with food getting stuck between my 2nd and 3rd molar. He had been very delicate in explaining what the actual problem was, without causing any panic. Dr. Shiva seemed very confident in what he was saying and was even open for all my queries. I would recommend Dr. Shiva to anyone who may be just needing a general checkup or perhaps some guidance on how to maintain good dental hygiene. He has been very patient with me. Was presently surprised to see a dentist interested in diagnosing and fixing the problem, rather than asking about my profession or figure out ways to overcharge me. Another dentist I had been to in Malleshwaram had recommended surgery, which Dr. Shivaprakash solved with extraction. Used to dread going to a dentist because of the pain - the entire experience was surprisingly painless.

It was first time I went to clinic and met Dr. Shivaprakasha. He attended to my dental problem. He treated me very well and it was successful. I never felt pain at any point of time while treating to my dental problem. So smoothly he handled the problem. He speaks nicely with patients and explains about the actual problems and its implications. Overall, doctor is very good.

He is very good with kids and made my daughter feel comfortable before the procdure. Clean and great place to be for a dental checkup.

Dr is very friendly treating patients like family members. He is having lot of patience. I strongly recommend dr Prakash for any kind of dental issues like root canal for all ages expecially elders.

The clinic is maintained hygienically and is equipped with all modern equipments required to treat the patients. Doctor explained the required treatment and those that are necessary presently. Overall I am happy with the treatment.
