Dr. Senthil K Vijayan

Dr. Senthil Vijayan is the Interventional Pain Medicine Specialist, Bangalore. Seeing his grandmother pass away suffering extreme pain during the last few weeks of her life motivated Dr. Senthil Vijayan to pursue a career in Interventional Pain Medicine. He received formal training in UK on radio frequency denervation and techniques like CBT, Mindfulness. With over 10 years of UK experience in pain management and special interest in neuropathic pain, he is an expert in treating conditions like chronic back pain, fibromyalgia, neck pain, knee pain, facial pain, piriformis syndrome, occipital headache, and cancer pain. He is one of the few people in the country to be specialized in interventional pain medicine. He introduced a pathway during his time in the UK to manage pain in old people with hip fractures. He is the Secretary of British Pain Society (PDC), and is also a member of International Association of Study of Pain, USA and Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management, UK.
