Dr. Sandeep Dixit

Last year was bad for my leg :) Faced 3 independent health problems and thanks to Dr Sandeep, all the health issues have gone away.

I am 40 years of age. A year back I was feeling pain in my ankles and was dragging my feet. I consulted the orthopaedic department of a multi-speciality hospital. After X-ray, the junior doctor concluded that there is a bone extension and suggested physiotherapy, customized footwear and the possibility of corrective surgery. This diagnosis and treatment were seconded and approved by the senior doctor in that department.

Dejected, I sought a 2nd opinion from Dr Sandeep. After listening to my symptoms, he suspected Vitamin D deficiency and asked for a blood test. Sure it was Vitamin D, and after taking supplements prescribed by the doctor, my ankle and other pain has gone away.

After a few months, I was feeling a pricking sensation in my knee. Again, based on my symptoms, the doctor suspected it could be gout. Sure the blood test showed up high uric acid levels. After taking treatment, this health issue is under control.

Towards the year end, I hurt my leg during exercising. The doctor suggested ultrasound and it showed up muscle tear. After resting for few weeks, the leg is fine now.

Like many moms out there, my mom also cycled through the various phases starting with increasing knee pain, seeking multiple medical opinions as well as alternative treatments for knee pain and basically absolute certainty that she didn’t want surgery. She needed someone like Dr. Sandeep Dixit to change her mind, while her own family could not. She agreed to undergo knee replacement surgery only on the condition that Dr. Dixit would be her surgeon. He made her feel at ease, answered all her questions regardless of how many times she asked them, reassured her and held her hand every step of the way. He has the unique ability to make the patient feel very relaxed and comfortable, and more importantly, to trust him completely. Now that I’ve interacted with Dr. Dixit, I will not accept any less from any other doctor!

My mother was suffering from knee pain for a long time. Got to know about Dr Sandeep Dixit through one of my friend and I took my mother to him. After diagnosis he suggested some knee exercises for few days. But when the pain did not decrease, he suggested to go for MRI.

Going through the report he suggested for ACL tear reconstruction surgery. He explained us what had happened internally with the help of knee model and he also explained how the surgery will be performed. He filled confidence in my mother that everything would be fine after the surgery.

The surgery took around 2 hrs. On the same day of surgery by evening in doctor's supervision with the help of a walker my mother was able to walk a few steps. Though it was difficult for my mother doctor encouraged her filled confidence in her.

She was discharged in 3 days. Doctor suggested some simple exercises which she had to perform at home on her own with some medication.

She recovered smoother than expected. She was able to walk on her own within 40 day and doing really well now.

Dr Sandeep was very kind and supported my mother for such speedy recovery.
