I visited Dr. Rupendu on a colleague's recommendation,firstly to his clinic in Jaynagar then got operated at Shanthi Hospital. I underwent shoulder dislocation surgery and the whole process was smooth. Doctor is extremely helpful and makes sure the patient is at ease. He is always available for any questions regarding the procedures and other related information.Also a big thumbs up for SHRC and staff.

Dr Rupendu is a very experienced *** ************* ****** ** ********** ** ** *** **** *********** *** ***** *********** ******* ** *********. I took treatment for my mother for a very complicated 2 stage infected hip joint replacement operation. He patiently heard us , guided us well and did operation after thorough investigation. It was a very successful operation of my 70 year old Mom.

I went for a knee meniscus tear. I had to get operated. He took a long look at all reports. Finally he operated on me.

He made it very simple. Discharge n monitoring all was superb. He was very patient in listening and answered all queries.

Had an amazing experience with him at SHRC.

Appointments given by secretary with regard to a specific time slot doesn’t work here actually, in fact she says only two slots available for today and do on

But in reality the story of time slots is totally different. Token are issued on first come first serve basis. We needed to wait almost 95 minutes ( beyond the time slot given by secretary) when our number came up.

This aspect needs to be very clear and waiting time has to be streamlined to make it not more than 15 minutes

I would highly recommend people suffering from orthopaedic problems to visit Dr. Rupendu.He operated me for bankart repair and I am recovering very well. The moment he saw my MRI reports,he knew what needs to be done. No unnecessary tests or medicines. He just fixed a date and surgery was done.

Still the swelling as not subsided need to visit Doctor again. Probably infection. Need to fix appointment .
