It is better to issue details of the medicine given by the Doctor and the usage of such medicines in a slip of paper,so that it avoids the side effects of the medicines on a patient and it benefits to the patient( actually patient may be difficult to keep remember which medicines,when to take,whether to take the medicines after food or before food etc.,) and also this prescription is useful to bring him / her next time when they visit the Doctor.
